Quick easy setup
This unit offers a lifetime of free updates…after powering on you have to register the devise along with that it’ll give you the option to do updates. This took about 10 minutes to do. On the main screen on the left you can go right into diagnostics. Just tap on that and after connecting to the vehicle you tap on the obd2 scan and it will automatically connect and scan your particular vehicle. Fully capable touch screen android based tablet. It has a durable outer shell along with integrated rubber ends. You can go through and operate all electronics systems. And power on/off everything from lights to ac systems. With this you can diagnose every system meaning no matter what light comes on you can scan check codes take screen shots, reset, and test.At around 260 bucks at the time of this review this is just as capable as any shop you mat think you need to go to for a systems check.Just a note if you do need to perform key coding the foxwell nt710 doesn’t support that function along with module coding.

Quick and accurate machine. Super easy to plug into your vehicle and tell you what is wrong with it. Fast results and diagnosis every problem you have. Clean images on the screen. Not a cheap product. Well worth the money. 2 Thumbs up 5 Stars. Great Product.

Will pay itself off
The media could not be loaded.
This is exactly what I was looking for. I can use this to register a new battery after I’ve installed it. I have two BMWs and it’s very expensive to have a repair shop or dealership place a battery. I’m talking $1,000 for my X5. That’s ridiculous. When I can do it myself with this scanner tablet. It’s very easy to use and comes with very good instructions. Has a built-in battery so you could charge it up but we’ll run on power through the ODB2 cable from the car. Very nice color screen. A little glare on the screen depending on where the sunlight is. Probably should have did this review inside the garage but I thought it would be brighter if I backed out. That time. The sun was going down but you can pretty much see some of the steps I went through. I just mostly wanted to share with the screen. Looks like. It is touch screen and responds very well to touches. Comes with a really nice hard case. My car had no codes because I had recently had it serviced. You do have to register and connect the device to Wi-Fi. I recommend turning on your hotspot on your cell phone and using it as the Wi-Fi. This is safer than connecting a foreign device to your network and entering your network password. I definitely recommend this device and like I said, it will pay itself off after a couple of uses.

Great Scanner
This scanner is easy to hook up and easy to use. I hooked it up to my car and it gave me everything I needed to know about the issues with my vehicle. Definitely recommend it.

Great for E chassis BMW’s.
Solid hardware, good software (intuitive and robust), screen is bright with good touch response. Easy updates over Wifi. Nice coding options for E chassis BMW’s (tried E65 and E70). Advanced features for diagnosis and customization of features. Bi-directional. A solid contender for near oe level diagnostics for BMW’s. Used to register new battery, and I/M readiness for smog. Also did DPF regen on diesel x5. Comes in a blow molded case. I switched from using INPA.

Good Scanner
This is a nice scanner that is easy to set up and use. The menu is easy to navigate and the large screen is crisp and clear. There is currently a $140 coupon which makes this scanner a great buy. I have no complaints and I would buy it again. 5 STARS

BMW and Foxwell Go Hand in Hand
As with all Foxwell OBD 2 devices I have purchased this one did not disappoint. Foxwell does a great job in providing easy to use devices that easily decode your VIN and decode any codes being thrown. Ask in all another great device by a great company.

The Automobile Oracle: Translating ‘Car-nese’ into Human!
My car used to flash lights and symbols at me like it was trying to communicate via Morse code. Then, I brought home what I now affectionately call the “Automobile Oracle,” and let me tell you, we’re having heart-to-hearts on the daily. This little gadget is more than a tool; it’s like a psychic hotline for my car. ABS light flickering? It divulges the secret. Airbag light causing distress? It spills the beans. Transmission throwing a tantrum? It’s on the case like a vehicular vigilante.Navigating the screen is as easy as swiping through a dating app, but instead of potential dates, it’s serving up diagnostic delights and vehicular verifications. Remember the dread of an unexpected warning light turning on? Me neither! With this wizard-like device in my glove box, I’m as calm as a monk in a cucumber patch. And the best part? It’s got a more diverse range than a buffet at an international food festival. It’s compatible with just about every car under the sun! So if you want to swap the panic of cryptic car codes for the bliss of understanding, grab one of these babies. With the Automobile Oracle in your corner, you’ll be the Sherlock Holmes of the highway, turning every warning light into a decoded message of peace!

cool scan tool
I have a few scan tools, one is OBD2 but with an app for readouts, one is a simple LCD readout with limited visual functions. This one from foxwell is amazing by comparison having a full touchscreen with great graphics. It can be used on OBD2 cars, but special functions and certain diagnostics are tailored for certain BMWs. The display is great and though complex the features are mostly easy to follow. It can even find your VIN on most cars. It’s a little pricey but for the professional or the hardcore home mechanic this can prove a great tool with tons of useful features.

Works well, plenty fast
There are a ton of cars on my property, but they are all working just fine. That means I had no codes to clear or investigate. I did, however, go around to most of the cars and plug this in to see what would happen. It found the VIN of all the cars without me doing much of anything. I looked around at some data on various cars, and everything looked perfectly fine.Using this is quite easy. It looks like an Android app. That’s probably because it runs on Android 9.0 (which is quite old at this point). Navigating the menus is perfectly quick. I never ran into any performance issues while I was playing around with various cars. This is quite good for the price. Now, it’s not a high end OBD2 tool. It’s not going to bleed your ABS system or anything like that. Those devices cost a whole lot more. Of course, those devices are also only for people who will actually bleed their own ABS systems. This is perfectly adequate for 99% of people. If you live in one of those states that tests emissions, this will actually do some of the same tests your state probably does. So, if you pass here, you should be fine. Of course, if you live in a state that hooks up something to your tail pipe…well…that could be a different story. I mean, probably not, but you never know.

Excellent
Excellent. I’ve tested more than a dozen Foxwell OBD2 scanners, and this one is among the best I’ve tried. It’s not so much that this device offers more functions that earlier models I’ve tested – around this price point they’re pretty much all full-featured, without any limitations that you might find in cheaper subscription-based models – but I feel Foxwell are becoming better by the year at building good looking devices. This thing looks *slick*, and especially so if you’ve ever used any of the clunkier older models from the brand. It’s a pleasure to use, and it feels like there’s more going on under the hood than in previous models. Pages load very quickly, and after a couple of weeks of testing I’ve yet to face an endless loading screen. All in all I’m very impressed. Foxwell just keep getting better at this stuff.

Awesome code reader
This code reader is phenomenal, It worked on my BMW without any issues and I was shocked that it also came with Rolls Royce and Mini. I love it so much that I purchased all of the other big brand vehicles brands so I can use it at work daily when scanning cars that come in to be repaired. So far I haven’t had any issues and I’ve had this scanner for about a month. I also really love the easy to use interface and the reports are customizable to look very professional when using in a real collision/mechanic facility. I would HIGHLY recommend this as it’s easy to use and works on every vehicle so far.
