Fantastic quality
I was really blown away by how clear and sharp this rig is. It is an incredible jump in quality from my old dashcam. You can read license plates even when the other car is pretty far away or moving fast. Very wide angle for both front and rear cameras. You can see both sides of an intersection and the traffic signals. Be sure to put a 256 GB card in because it will eat up storage space recording in the best quality setting. Five minutes of video at full rez takes almost 1 Gb for the front camera and about 260 mg for the rear. There’s an app you can download and pair up with this camera that allows you to make adjustments through your phone rather than doing it on the camera itself. It will also allow you to directly download videos to your smartphone, but it is pretty slow doing it that way. Removing the card and mounting it on your computer is a faster way to go if you are downloading a lot. It has a ton of other features, I can’t review them all here. Took me about 45 minutes to route the wiring through the top weatherstripping on the side windows of my SUV for the rear camera. There’s videos on youtube that show you how, it’s pretty easy. You do NOT have to remove any of the headliner. One trick I learned from my old dashcam is that any kind of suction cup mounting system will fail after a certain amount of time, and the camera will fall off the windshield. Just be sure to wrap your wires once or twice around the rear view mirror before you start running your wires. That way when the suction cup lets go, the camera will just dangle from the mirror instead of falling to the floor. See the photo I posted. You would be hard pressed to find a better dashcam for the price than this one.

A company that REALLY DOES stand behind their products
I have always said that sometimes you get a defective item and sooner or later it’s bound to happen to everyone. For me it’s always been about what a company/business does after they’re aware of the problem. I had an issue with my hard wire kit a few months after getting this camera. The camera itself worked wonderful and I like everything about it. Because it was well after the return period I ordered a new kit and wrote a review of my experience. I was contacted by the company immediately thereafter asking what they could do to make it right. Not expecting much I told them I had already ordered a new kit for which they said they would reimburse me. I was immediately reimbursed and they sent me another kit. Okay great! So I install the new hard wire kit only to find out when I tried to plug it in the connector was the wrong one. Apparently the new ones are C connectors. It having took a few weeks to get around to installing this I’m again thinking this is a lost cause but I contact the company and let them know of the problem and am told that yes me camera has the old style connector and they no longer make them BUT, they would send me an entire new camera with the C style connector, FREE of charge. That was 2 days ago and today I got the camera. Sort of sad that I have to say this but I am amazed! Maybe there’s still hope out there in this crazy world. Don’t change a think Red Tiger. You guys are a model for the OTHER guys.

Good Product, Good Customer Service
I purchased the Red Tiger F7NP Dash Cam. It was easy to install; hiding the wires to hookup to the 12V receptacle. The picture quality (video & photo) on the app was very good. However, I wanted to connect the unit to the fuse box so I could take advantage of the Parking mode and had a couple of technical questions. I called the 800 number, which was answered fairly quickly. A gentleman by the name of Emerson answered my questions and assisted with getting the Hardwire Kit mailed to me. Emerson was patient and polite with my questions, very knowledgeable about the Dash Cam and very easy to understand, Product Quality and Customer Service is very important to me and is the reason why I would definitely recommend the Red Tiger Dash Cam.

Best for the price.
This is my first dashcam and all i can say about it is that it’s perfect and ideal for me.Installation: This is my first dashcam an i’m not at all a handy man but installing it was easy. took me 2 hours with some youtube videos and elbow grease. I wired it nicely and ticked it in so you the wires arent dangling at all.Quality: The quality is great, it’s definitely way better than any phone quality made before 2013.Overall: 10/10 It connects to my phone, had front and back camera, cheap, easy setup , good quality, if your going to get a dashcam please invest into a good one, i would buy this and share to my friends.

Great Product & Customer Service
We purchased this camera. Which has been great. The quality is awesome. Reviewing the footage is easyBUT let me just say, the customer service is 10/10! The rear camera went out. Started being blurry & the going black screen. I reached out to them. Absolutely great customer service! They helped with troubleshooting first. They sent a replacement out ASAP. Smooth replacement process ever!I haven’t installed the new rear camera yet. But I’m sure if I have any issues, they will help.I wasn’t mad & didn’t want to leave a mean review because the camera went out. It’s technology. It happens. It’s how the company handles the process that makes a huge difference.

Camera does its job, phone connection is difficult
I purchased this model and the Rove R2 4k at the same time. The REDTIGER does a good job recording a clear video but the WIFI turns off every time the camera powers off. If I want to connect my phone I need to go into the menu on the camera and turn WiFi on every time in order to connect which is time consuming and sometimes difficult to connect. The Rove stays connected all the time as soon as I open the app. I love the rear camera that it came with where the Rove does not. Just keep the recording clips set at 1 minute or it takes a lot of time to download a clip. 1 minute clip takes about 30 seconds to download. If it wasn’t for the WiFi turning itself off every time I use It I would rate it 5. Cord was long enough to connect to the back window of my F150 super crew with plenty of cord to spare

Easy install and picture quality is good!
I installed this in my daughter’s Nissan Rogue Sport. It was extremely easy. I replaced the included 32gb card for a 128gb card. It says format as FAT32, but windows is a pain as it only lets you format up to 32gb as FAT32. There are ways around thus but for those not software savvy, just put it in the dashcam, power it up, go into the menu and scroll down to “format”. Takes a couple seconds and voila. Plenty of wire to run the rear cam. Impressed with video and sound quality. For pretty much any dashcam, being able to read a license plate at night is hard due to your headlights washing out the plate. Otherwise this thing is great. I like the google map part of the playback in app. Shows your route in that clip and blue dot moves along route as you watch it. Shows LAT/LONG and speed. After being saved recently from an insurance fraud scheme by my Tacoma’s built in dashcam, I decided I needed dashcams for my wife and daughter too.

REALLY RECOMMEND.
I purchased the F7NP dash cam 2 month ago. The quality is great and very clear. It works great and it is easy to download the file as well. The most satisfying thing is their customer service. I am really impressed by their service. I had the SD card issue so I sent an email to REDTIGER to ask the issue. They made a video clip to show me how I need to do and sent it to me. Besides, they emailed me again to check if it worked. They are amazing! Yesterday, my friend asked me about my Dash cam. I recommended this dash cam w/o hesitation. Great dash cam and great company!

Excellent Customer Service
I recently had an issue with my rear dash camera and reached out to the Manufacturers customer service for help. To my pleasant surprise, the experience turned out to be incredibly satisfying, thanks to Crystal, the customer service representative who assisted me.From the beginning, Crystal was attentive and efficient. She asked all the right questions to understand my issue, which reflects her professionalism and expertise. With her help, I was able to get a replacement part shipped to me quickly. I’m happy to report that everything now works perfectly! What impressed me the most was not just the resolution of my problem, but the way Crystal handled the entire process. She was very responsive, always available to answer my queries, and even followed up periodically to ensure the replacement part arrived on time and in perfect condition. It’s this level of care and attention that really sets a company apart.Besides the product quality, what I truly appreciate about this experience is the exceptional customer service. It’s reassuring to know that if any issues arise, there’s a reliable and efficient support system ready to help. Crystal’s outstanding service has definitely made me a content and loyal customer. Highly recommend this product not just for its functionality, but also for the amazing customer support that comes with it

Great so far!
Received this dash cam last night. It is my 4th dash cam I own and It is my favorite one now. As of right now, I have no complaints. Easy regular front camera install (i haven’t done the back yet). Videos are clear, license plates readable, video quality is good, buttons are big and easy to operate, easy access to SD card, audio is good, and it a high quality product. I like how they attached the GPS to the suction cup because it hides the GPS well. I will post more pics and videos later on. I will also update this review if anything changes. The date right now is 05JAN2024.

I recently purchased the REDTIGER Dash Camera, and I have to say, it’s nothing short of amazing! The quality and smooth 4K recording it provides are truly outstanding. Here’s why I can’t stop raving about this fantastic dash cam:Top-Notch Video Quality: The 4K recording capability of this dash camera is second to none. The clarity and detail it captures are simply remarkable. Whether it’s capturing the beauty of a scenic drive or recording important moments on the road, this dash cam delivers exceptional video quality every time.Smooth and Steady Footage: One of the standout features of this dash camera is its ability to provide incredibly smooth and steady footage. No more worrying about shaky or blurry recordings; this camera ensures that every detail is captured with precision.Easy Installation: Setting up the dash camera was a breeze. The instructions were clear and straightforward, and I had it up and running in no time. It’s a user-friendly device that doesn’t require any technical expertise.Wide-Angle Coverage: The wide-angle lens on this dash cam provides excellent coverage, capturing everything happening on the road ahead. It’s a reassuring feeling knowing that I have a comprehensive view of my surroundings while driving.Reliable and Durable: I appreciate the durability and reliability of this dash camera. It’s built to withstand various weather conditions, and I trust that it will continue to perform flawlessly over time.Multi-Vehicle Convenience: As I mentioned earlier, I loved this dash cam so much that I purchased one for each of my vehicles. Having consistent recording quality across all my cars is a huge plus.In conclusion, if you’re in the market for a dash camera that offers amazing 4K recording quality, smooth footage, and ease of use, look no further. Great Dashcam. Fabulous Customer Service! Insufficient Parking Mode Instructions (read below).
Purchased this for my wife’s RAV4. I like having both the front and rear cameras and love how compact they are; they are fairly unobtrusive in both locations. The front camera is mostly behind the rear-view mirror (the camera is small enough to easily fit entirely behind the mirror, but the car’s OEM black box against the windshield is already occupying the ideal real estate). The rear camera is tucked up at the top of the rear window (just at the top of the rear wiper sweep area) and is barely noticeable. I liked that I could rotate the rear camera in its holder to the view angle I wanted. The cable length on the rear camera was more than sufficient to reach front-to-back in this car (and easily tucked away behind the headliner and other trim pieces), but I’m not sure if it would be enough for a full-size SUV like an Excursion. It does have an inline connector near the rear camera which was convenient when installing the rear camera and running the wire and may allow for an extension to be used. The video quality looks great. I set my front resolution down to 1080p since I feel that will be sufficient for our day-to-day needs. In my opinion, the quality of the footage will be impacted more by how clean the glass is and the weather conditions outside than the quality of the cameras.I like that I can set whether and how long the screen is visible when the dashcam is on. Most of the time, I prefer to have the displays screen off. It takes some clicking to get through all of the menus, but I found the UI intuitive and easy enough to use.The included lighter adaptor worked fine, but I got the hardwire kit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WCTZ3Y8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) to run permanently and to enable Parking Mode (see note below).I also got the 3M Mount (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09SFY13TZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) so I could mount the camera a bit higher behind the rear-view mirror. I’ll use the suction mount and lighter adaptor when using the dashcam on trips in a rental car. You’ll want to get a larger (e.g. 256 GB) High Endurance U3 SD card (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P4HBRMV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) as the included SD card is only U1.NOTE on the hardwire kit and Parking Mode: I connected the wires as instructed (yellow->BATT, red->ACC, black->GRD) but did not see the behavior I was expecting from the dashcam: the dashcam immediately turned on even though the ACC power was off, and I could not turn on Parking Mode. This led me to believe that the documentation was wrong, so I reversed the red and yellow wires which resulted in the dashcam not turning on until ACC power was on and allowing me to set Parking Mode (or so I thought), so I felt that I had figured it out. However, I then realized that the dashcam would not stay on – it never recorded any footage while the car was on (or off). Gratefully, I found a Q&A response from “Elizabeth B” back on 10/7/2021 which explained how to properly set up Parking Mode (which doesn’t appear to be documented anywhere with either product):1. Connect wires as described above (Yellow = constant 12v, Red = switched 12v, Black = ground).2. Turn on acc power (but do not start engine).3. Press menu button and select “Parking”.4. While blue message box is shown on the F7N display, turn off acc power (this has to be timed well). You should see a new blue message box and the F7N unit will power off.5. Turn acc power back on (but do not start engine).6. Press menu button and select “Parking”.7. You will now see the menu options for Parking Mode and be able to configure it how you like.credit: Elizabeth B.(Attention REDTIGER: You should include these steps in your documentation and compensate Elizabeth.)After reverting my wire connections back to match the documentation and following the steps above, my hardwired dashcam is now functioning perfectly – including Parking Mode.Even though my installation and set-up experience with the hardwire kit wasn’t ideal, I do have to say that the REDTIGER customer service was outstanding! They were responsive, proactive, and empowered to do the right things for their customers. Thank you Nora!As for the apps, the Android app seems to work sufficiently well. It does take a LONG time to download the video files over the dashcam’s wi-fi. I prefer to remove the SD card and copy the files directly to my PC.I’m not very impressed with the PC app (Windows 10) yet. I tried it only once, but it seemed to have a hard time after viewing the first video, and even that wasn’t great. It’s intended to show both front & rear video simultaneously, which I think is great, but I haven’t been able to get it work very well. I’ll try again and see if I can get it run better. I was surprised to discover that the rear camera records audio, so it doesn’t sound great when both front and rear audio are played at the same time. I muted the rear audio and used just the front audio. The video files run just fine on third-part video players.Bottom line: I love the dashcam and rear camera; easy to use; good video; absolutely fabulous customer service.

Great product. Awesome Customer Service!
This being my first experience with a dash cam I was surprised how easy it is to install and then you can pretty much forget about it until you need to watch something. It’s all automatic. When plugged into the cigarette lighter socket the dash cam comes on and starts recording when you start the car and turns off when you turn the car off. It even has a chime to let you know its turning on or off.I didn’t even know about the free app that shows you things like GPS position, vehicle speed, a graphic map showing your position at every moment. And more…Customer service was awesome!I wasn’t familiar with the concept of static sheets and I threw mine away before I knew I needed them. When I realized my mistake I contacted Customer Service and told them what I did and they sent new ones out that I received in about 3 days.I can’t say enough about the product and support.I will add that even though the cigarette lighter supplies 12v dc, I experimented and plugged it into an iPhone charger in the house. I connected a regular 5V phone charger to the USB-C port on the dash cam and it works perfectly…

Great Dashcam, and Great Customer Service.
I ordered the REDTIGER dash cam 6 months ago and immediately fell in love with the sharp 4K videos it produced. I also liked the information that was recorded when I downloaded a video, like speed, GPS, date/time, and more, all things that will help if you’re in an accident and they try to say it’s your fault.Something free, I read a review that said you can call REDTIGER and they will send you a free hardwire kit with a dashcam purchase, I called and they did. The hardwire kit allows you to set up your camera to turn on if it registers an impact to your vehicle when it’s turned off, and if you have a power plug that stays hot you don’t have to turn the camera on and off when you get in and out of the vehicle. They also have a polarizing lens available to help block out glare from headlights and the sun, but you’ve gotta pay for that. Now why you should buy from REDTIGER, after the warranty ran out my rear camera quit working, I called REDTIGER and they shipped me another rear camera in 2 days, but that didn’t fix it. So I called them again and we went over the operation of the front camera to see if I was doing something wrong but I wasn’t so he sent me a new front camera, that also got here in 2 days. Now you’re wondering did they make a product that would have these kinds of problems, no they don’t you see the installer was an idiot “me” and I shorted out the wires to the rear camera and it killed the front and rear camera at the same time. So if you’re looking for a great dashcam at a great price with excellent customer service, I don’t believe you’ll find a better deal then REDTIGER Dashcams. Just don’t ask me to install it.

Updated Review
Updated 10/21/23: Redtiger has some of the best customer service I’ve dealt with. They did not want me to have a bad experience with their product. They made sure to replace the defective unit for me and have followed up regularly to make sure the new unit met to my expectations. The new unit is working like a charm and I feel this 1st unit was just a defective unit. I guess that can happen with any product. So overall I’m changing my review from 1 star to 5 and recommending the camera.I purchased this camera based off Amazon reviews and Google reviews. Unfortunately, after being installed a week the camera randomly started to turn off and then go back to factory reset while I was driving. There is no rhyme or reason. It just happens. With that said. I immediately contacted the seller who was super responsive. However, they wanted me to go through all these steps to see if I could get the problem corrected and provide video of the camera while having issues. Which is not really feasible when one is driving and I dont have time to just stop and deal with a dash cam that isn’t working correctly. Here are my issues:I do not have time to troubleshoot a brand new camera and while they offered a replacement if the troubleshooting didn’t work – I have no faith in a product that only lasted a week before giving trouble. Where does this leave me in a year when something happens and the warranty is up? So I have opted to return it.Pros: compact, easy to install, clear video on the screen of the unit itself, camera is easy to set up, everything needed to install is provided in the box, and customer service is highly responsive.Cons: the app leaves a lot to be desired. It is pretty much useless. Also, when connected to wifi my phone gave issues with being able to connect to the internet. The camera lasted one week before randomly factory resetting itself multiple times. This makes it unreliable and useless in the event of an accident.I wish I had a better review and had high hopes for this product, so it is really disappointing to have to start my dash cam search over.

Great quality video, power issues
I loved everything about this camera from the moment I received it. It installed very easily, the part that took the longest was me figuring out the best way to set up the cord for my vehicle (where to secure it, where to give slack, etc). The video quality is great, it connects to the app very easily and I’m really impressed with the video I can pull and edit within the app. There’s a bunch of extra info in the app during playback too, like a real-time map and speed and all kinds of things. My issue is that a couple weeks after installing this dash cam (received early November, installed before Thanksgiving), the unit started to power off and power back on randomly while I was driving. Sometimes it would power off and just not come back on at all until I unplugged it from the power source and plugged it back in. This morning it actually blue-screen-of-death’ed me for about 8 seconds while emitting a loud long beep before just turning off. I once again had to unplug it an plug it back in for it to come back on.I will be reaching out to the manufacturer today (12-21-23) detailing these issues and will update this review with the results of that.

Seamless Blend of Exceptional Customer Service and Cutting-Edge Dashboard Camera Technology: F7N
I have purchased 2 dashboard cameras from REDTIGER. First in April 2021, and the second in April 2023. Unfortunately, the second camera failed after just 3 months. It begin to reboot at random time, making all sorts of noses.NOTE: the original review as negative (I give REDTIGER only one star). I decided to change this review from negative to POSITIVE after resolving the problem with the REDTIGER customer support. If you have a problem with REDTIGER’s Dashboard camera, I highly encourage you to contact REDTIGER and work with them! From the moment I reached out to the REDTIGER customer service team, I was met with a level of professionalism and attentiveness that is increasingly rare in today’s fast-paced world. The representatives were not only knowledgeable about their product but also genuinely committed to ensuring a smooth and satisfying customer experience. They patiently addressed all my inquiries, providing detailed information and guidance that went above and beyond my expectations. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show—the new dashboard camera F7N. The device boasts cutting-edge technology that sets it apart from the competition. The video quality is nothing short of exceptional, capturing crystal-clear footage both during the day and at night. The wide-angle lens ensures a comprehensive view of the surroundings, leaving no room for blind spots. What truly impressed me was the camera’s advanced features (touch screen) and user-friendly interface. One standout feature is the intelligent parking mode, which automatically activates the camera when motion is detected, providing an added layer of security for my vehicle. The device’s reliability and robust construction instill confidence, and its sleek design adds a touch of modernity to my car’s interior. In conclusion, the exceptional customer service combined with the top-tier performance of this dashboard camera has left me thoroughly impressed. It’s evident that the company not only prioritizes innovation but also values its customers’ satisfaction. If you’re in the market for a reliable and high-performing dashboard camera, look no further – F7N is an excellent camera supported by excellent customer service at REDTIGER

Great quality cameras, Wi-Fi hard to set up. App is useless to control the cameras.
Review of REDTIGER Dash Cam Front Rear, 4K/2.5K Full HD Dash Camera for Cars, Free 32GB SD Card, Built-in Wi-Fi GPS, 3.18” IPS Screen, Night Vision, 170°Wide Angle, WDR, 24H Parking ModeI bought this to put in my 2016 F150 XLT Sport Super Crew cab. A few months ago, I was at a stoplight, in a turn lane, with a large work truck in front of me and a car behind me. The driver of the truck decided that he wanted to go to the next turnoff instead, so he throws it in reverse and hits the gas. He backed into me hard enough to total my little 1991 Ford Escort. Fortunately, he was honest enough to not take off and admitted to what he had done. Had he not been, I would have been left sitting there or trying to prove that I did not run into him while he was stopped. Most people that are not involved in an accident won’t bother to stop and provide a witness statement either anymore. So, I decided to get a dashcam for both of my vehicles. This had a lot of good reviews overall, here and elsewhere on the Internet. It is not an expensive dashcam and it has a rear camera too. Plus, it comes with Wi-Fi GPS. It comes with a 32GB SD card, and with the loop recording, it is sufficient to do the job I need it to do. This thing is small, and the screen is small (3.18”), but it does not obstruct your view and is easily mounted out of the way. It has more weight to it than I expected. It comes with 2 ways to mount it on the front windshield, a suction cup (my preferred since I don’t like to adhere things to parts of my car with 3M) and 3M tape. The suction cup failed when I placed it in part over the darkened “Ford” lettering/decal. I came out the next day after installing this and the camera was hanging by the cable. The suction cup is suctioned all the way by turning the GPS antenna/knob/dial to the right to finish the suction. I had to move it to a location that was not my ideal choice if I wanted to continue utilizing the suction cup instead of the 3M tape. There is a phone app. It is very difficult to get it to connect to the phone/Wi-Fi. The phone app is pretty useless really for any camera management or set up. It seems that its main function is viewing the videos, downloading any stills, etc. According to the ad, “you can use the “Redtiger” app to view, playback, and manage the dash cam on your IOS or Android devices. You can also download and edit videos in the app. By just one-click you can share your travel scenery and wonderful moments with your friends and family.” I have not downloaded any videos to experiment with yet, but so far, I am not seeing anything in the app that lets me manage the dashcam. The User Interface is all on the buttons and icons of the camera too. It is not overly complicated with a little fidgeting. The camera is easy to position and tighten down. The rear camera is easily mounted too. I found it somewhat difficult to ensure that the rear camera was plugged in all the way, both into the front camera and at the joining of the cables for the rear camera. I couldn’t get a picture from the rear until I pushed both plugins harder. The power cable is ample, but I plan to use a fused hardwire kit so that I can utilize the parked feature. The resolution (front 4K Full HD front, 2.5K Full HD rear) is very good. The night vision is highly rated as well. The fields of view are ample. The added GPS allows for greater proofs of locations, routes, etc., should you get in an accident, or need the records for whatever purpose. These supposedly help deter thefts of the vehicle, and the F150 is a high value target. The rear camera cable is long enough for smaller cars with some left over probably. In truck, and it being the 4DR Super Crew Cab, I had little cable left over after hiding the cables. Plus, I had to be aware of which side I placed the cable due to the sliding rear window in my truck. I was not careful enough when I adhered it to the rear glass and managed to get the lens of the camera over the electric rear defrosting element instead of between them (just a note for anyone else). I would not have had enough cable to put the rear cameras on the outside of my truck or even near the license plate as some do to use for a backup camera too. Even if I ran the cable just onto the floor down the middle of the vehicle, it would not be long enough to get to the rear of my vehicle. I did hide the cable along the right side of the inside of my vehicle, from top to bottom, and then along the right-side bottom back up to the rear windshield. The screen on the camera is small enough that I really can’t see it being of much use as a backup camera, especially if it is in split-screen mode. It does not sense backup movement and does not switch modes automatically either. It has a screensaver function. The hardwire harness setup would never work for me to match up with this camera like it’s supposed to. I don’t think it is the camera’s fault though. I add this for those that try to hardwire (hotwire) their dash cam of this model. I contacted customer support, which is pretty great. I followed the instructions, but the setup would not work. I was advised that they would send me a different hotwire harness that plugs into the OBD port and does not require plugging into the fuse box. So, we shall see. Also, if you try to set up your camera for parking mode, the instructions leave out that you must have your vehicle running while you choose this setting on the camera. The price is reasonable for the quality of the cameras, and all this does. I deducted 1 star for how poorly the app is designed, the app’s UI, and how wonky it is to get the Wi-Fi to connect.Hope this helps someone decide about this product.

Great dash cam.
The media could not be loaded.
Last summer my wife was in a very minor accident where a driver left the scene of the accident without stopping. She had never been in a car accident in her life, and the fact that the driver left the scene imposed unnecessary complications afterward. I thought, “hmm, I have thought many times about installing a dash cam in my SUV but have never done it. Maybe its time to do this.”I ordered the Red Tiger Dash Cam Front Rear, 4K/2K Full HD Dash Cam. If you have installed one or two of these before, the installation of this would probably be considered a breeze. If you have not done so before, you can leave out the “breeze” part. Still, I did it front and rear and managed to successfully hide the wires behind the vehicle trim. I ordered a 256 gig micro SD card to give me more recording capability than the included 32 gig card would provide. The hardest part of the installation for many will be connecting properly to the fuse box in the vehicle. Mine was in a rather difficult spot to access easily, especially when trying to get the correct connection. One rather important hint. Find a website that gives you the schematic diagram of your specific vehicle’s fuse box, copy it, and print it out. This will really help once you find the box and remove its cover. I wanted an install that would mean the dash cam would automatically turn on when I start the vehicle and automatically turn off when I turn the vehicle off. I also ordered the F7N hardwire kit that includes multiple fuse connectors. As it turned out, I would NOT have been able to connect to my vehicle’s fuse box without one of those connectors in the extra kit. After install and first use, I was excited to remove the SD card and view some of the recordings through my PC. And I must say, the recording quality is outstanding. I have a 32″ monitor and the video viewed through that is incredible. And, its incredible from the front camera and the rear camera. Night recording is also really good. Its a little grainy from the rear camera at night, since there isn’t near as much light being emitted from the rear tail lights as there is from the front ones. You can set it to record GPS coordinates or not, you can tell it to record vehicle speed or not…….there is a lot of customization available to you. I absolutely love this dash cam. But, why write a review almost six months after I ordered it? The answer is simple. Late in the day on new year’s day, we left the house of some relatives who had invited us to dinner. We live about 12-15 miles from them. On the way home as we approached a red light at a major intersection, a driver approached wildly in the left lane as I was stopping in the center lane for a red light. I knew he was either going to hit me or slam into the back of the car in the left lane. I slowed down thinking that he would hit me AFTER slamming into the other car. As it turns out I gave the wild driver enough of a window to attempt to squeeze in between the car he was about to hit and mine. So he hit mine. Since I saw him coming and was able to slide to the right a bit as he started to hit me, the damage was minor to my SUV. He stopped in front of me as there was another care stopped in my lane at the light (and one also in the right lane). I immediately got out of my vehicle and took a picture of his tag. The dude opened his door but when the light turned green he drove off. I followed him up the road as I called 911 and managed to see him turn into a really dark office complex parking lot. He finally stopped in the rear of a well lit bank parking lot after realizing he could not get away. Long story made shorter. He was ultimately charged with DUI, Hit and Run, driving without a license and failure to maintain lane. But, he CANNOT lie about anything and get away with it because I have a complete video record of the entire episode thanks to my wonderful Red Tiger dash cam. If his insurance company tries to even remotely suggest that somehow they are NOT responsible for my damages, I have a video record to prove everything that happened. (I was in an accident many, many years ago and the driver lied in court. I have never forgotten that.) Lies don’t work when there is clear video evidence. I attached the video of me following him into the office park. Note: this is at night. Notice the quality of the video.Thank you Red Tiger. Folks, this is a great product!

Great Camera, Mounts and Customer Support Aren’t
Update: After submitting a review, and another request for customer support, they replied and were very responsive. They quickly shipped out another mount, the 3M this time so hopefully this one works better. We really have loved the dash cam so far, except for the suction cup mount. We’ve loved this camera, it has been great. The mount, not so much. I’m only 7 months after my purchase, 6 months after the install. After about 2 or 3 months the mount kept falling. I wrote them, they acknowledged there were an issue with early mounts, offered another suction cup mount, or a 3M mount. Not wanting a permanent mount, I chose the new suction cup mount. Now, that suction cup has ripped off, separated from the base. The newer mounts obviously aren’t better. Unfortunately I threw the old one out once a replacement was sent that seemed ok, for a month or 2.I have filled out the form for customer service, no reply days later. Frustrating. I’m buying another dash cam, for my new vehicle. Although this camera itself has been great, and I’d love another, I refuse to buy if the mounts are junk, and customer support sucks. On a side note, if you’re buying for a newer Jeep Grand Cherokee, keep in mind the power cord you can purchase from them to get power, instead of the power jack, will be difficult to install. Jeep has pieces covering the firewall, and our only fuse box is under the hood. Unfortunately it’s difficult to get to. Some do have a secondary fuse box under the back seat, ours did not. Although not an issue for this camera, or company itself, I wanted to note it for others. We’ve not been able to install ours, because I can’t physically do it. I’m going to have to pay someone. So, camera quality has been great, mounts not so much. They are horrible, the suction cups really are bad. The customer service the 1st time I wrote, great. Now that mount separated, they’ve not replied. Consider another brand if you want to use the cam. Mine is sitting home without a mount, while I wait and wait for customer service to care. I’d have given a solid 5 stars, if the customer service replied, and mounts did their job. Unfortunately I’m left a few months later with disconnected wires hanging, not using it because I can’t mount it.

Best Dash Cam out there!
I’m going to preface my review by saying I just recently got this to install on my new 2024 Honda HR-V Sport. I’m giving helpful tips for hardwiring.1. This specific dash cam comes only with the cig port lighter power option. You cannot just directly plug into USB or USB-C type ports, as most newer cars come equipped with. I originally thought my car didn’t have any cig port at all, to find out it only has one…in the trunk. Either way I did originally intend to hardwire it, BUT just keep this in mind when trying to just test out the camera first. Luckily I had my other dash cam (front camera only) that had the USB-C to USB connection wire so I was able to test.2. Get all your tools BEFORE trying to install. It comes with a trim tucking tool and some clips, but you will need a voltmeter, a screwdriver, a fuse remover (usually comes with your car, in the engine bay fuse box) and the right hardwiring kit. I made the mistake of buying one of those sharp pen and wire looking meters and didn’t know it needed a power source to work (call me dumb but I’m no electrician). I instead had to go back out and get a digital voltmeter from Harbor Freight and that worked. You’re also going to need to get a hardwire kit specifically for your car and the port connection. So not only do you have to make sure the hardwire kit fits the dash cam (USB-C, NOT MICRO USB or other), you also have to make sure that the fuse end fits the fuse spaces of your specific car. This one is probably the best viable option for most, it has a USB-C to the other end that has different size fuse ends Dash Cam Hardwire Kit USB C Port, Dashboard Camera Car Charger Cable Kit 12V- 24V to 5V w/Fuse Kit, Low Voltage Protection for Dash Cam Double-4 Fuses https://a.co/d/5EhMmnD).3. I had a bit of a disappointing opinion on the wire direction setup and the fact that the front dash cam doesn’t swivel 360 degrees, it only swivels up and down, so because most people setup a dash cam just to the right on the rear view mirror, I think all dash cams should come with a 360 movable mount, just in case you prefer to monitor on side more, but the view covers pretty sufficient area so it’s not a big deal to me. The wire direction is also something I don’t like because both wires will/should be tucked in on the left side of the vehicle for obvious reasons but it literally could’ve been a simple design switch to allow the rear camera port to be on the right side of the dash cam and actual camera, that way that wire can be tucked into the trim of the right side of the car and only the power hardwire on the left side. It is I guess personal preference and this is not really a problem if you intend to just plug in through cig lighter port, but maybe have options for both, especially since newer vehicles are a little different. All vehicles are different for that matter but yea.4. The quality of both cameras are amazing and the app very seamless. Just don’t expect to be able to view video when the memory card is still plugged into the dash cam and car off, you either have to sit in the car basically to view through the app with the car on/ACC mode OR remove the memory card to view on a computer. This is something I don’t think ANY dash cam manufacturer has figured out yet, so it’s not just RedTiger. The parking sensor works great as well.Overall very happy with my purchase! Hope this helps :)- Another tip, I personally wouldn’t use the ODB interface hardwire connection setup because I haven’t heard good things about it, even though it seems to be the easier/quicker plug in option. Google the cons…

As good as it gets.
I use Vantrue dash cams in my other cars, but I bought the Red Tiger based on some youtube video reviews and the fact that it has an available water resitant rear camera. This was important because I have a convertible and therefore no back window when the top is down. Vantrue does not offer a waterproof/resistant rear camera. When I ordered this, I made two mistakes. The first mistake was I saw in the picture that the camera looked waterproof (a splash of water around the image), but it did not expressly state that in the model I bought. The second was I bought a hardwire kit with the wrong connector for my camera. This was 100% my fault for not checking the boxes upon purchase. Despite that Red Tiger responded within 24 hours of an email request for information and provided the correct parts free of charge. These were two different occasions. Later, after racing my car and trying to offload the videos to my computer, I noticed that there were some files missing. Concerned that the camera was missing data and that this could happen during an accident, I contacted them again and again they responded within 24 hours and led me to the files which were actually in a locked folder called (Park F and Park R for parking mode). Makes sense. If I had thought about it a little, I probably would have figured out that the camera thought that racing WAS an accident and stored them there. Other cameras I have call this Emergency or something of that nature. Anyway, the bottom line is that the camera quality is on par with other cameras in the price range, since it uses the same sensor, but the price was lower, they had a water resistant rear camera option and their customer support was top notch. I simply don’t see any reason not to give them 5 stars. The only problems with the camera that I see are that it will annoyingly remind you to re-format the drive. You are supposed to do this every month, but that month comes around quick and it’s kind of annoying. I would also like to see a really small camera with a separate box for the rest of the electronics, because I’m afraid someone will see the camera and break into my car to steal it. Systems like this are available, but they are more expensive and usually don’t have a screen. I don’t like using my phone to have to access the dash cam, because I use my phone for so many other things and I’ve had problems in the past where I buy a new phone and the app stops working. So then I need a new camera too? But this is no more a problem with Red Tiger than any other camera, since they are not offered. Consequently, I cannot comment on the quality of the app since I do not use it.

Great dash cam and a great company
This F7NP dash cam has really good quality video and tons of features, especially for the price. I had to download their player to see the videos, but that was easy and works well. I like that it can be hard wired to save my USB port and hide wires, and they even sent me the hardwire kit for free (it didn’t come with the camera and at this time they apparently do this for anyone who asks). Hardwire also allows something called parking mode which records while in park, but it isn’t like Tesla’s sentry mode. It either records time lapse or will record when it senses movement (like a crash or jolt using a G-force sensor) but not both. I haven’t had much experience with the time lapse but it sounds like you would have to get lucky to catch some kind of vandalism since it isn’t continuous. Still, even without parking mode it’s a great deal and so parking mode is icing on the cake. I did have some difficulty determining exactly where to connect my hardwire kit. I found their customer service to be reasonably quick (within 24 hours each time I contacted them), friendly and very helpful.I may never have gotten a dash cam but was given a different one as a gift. I had a couple of incidents where I was really glad I had it until I realized that both events failed to record. That was a Rexing brand camera. Their customer service was not as fast, and while they did attempt to be helpful, even after they replaced my initial dash cam they were not able to fully resolve my concerns and ultimately I decided to switch to a better quality camera with more features. Nice that it also has better support. Both dash cams were similarly priced.Only downside of the Redtiger as compared to the Rexing is that the audio on / off is in a menu rather than a dedicated button. Based on watching a video, it appears that my Redtiger model used to have that, but that button now takes a picture instead. That’s probably a reasonable trade because I can see value in that as well. I don’t want to record audio all the time but would turn it on if there was an incident. Rather than going through the menu I will probably just hit audio record on my phone. One additional recommendation is to get a bigger SD card than what is supplied, and go for a “high endurance” card. Never knew that was a thing but apparently constant writing and overwriting from a dash cam wears these cards out quick and so they engineer some to take that abuse. They don’t cost a lot more and I completely fried a standard card with about 1 1/2 years of use.Update: I have been using parking mode in the G-force setting. It’s pretty cool. If I just sit in the car it activates and records, so anyone messing with your car trying to gain entry would probably set it off. It probably wouldn’t activate if you were getting keyed though.

Excellent including mapping and customer service
I purchased the 7NP about a month ago. It took a while to get it fully installed since my car (Prius V, which is an SUV with a hatchback) is garaged in NYC and is not easily accessible. In any event, both cameras are now installed, with the rear-facing camera using a strip of the electrostatic film situated on my rear window tint and between two lines of defrost etching. The suction device (also attached via the full electrostatic film) for the front-facing camera is much more powerful than that with my former Wheel Witness dashcam and should not fall off. I had been concerned about whether the travel route would superimpose on a map based on several other reviews. It does, but it’s a bit tricky. If you remove the SD card and insert it into a computer and then play the file (mp4) from the RedTiger app (my PC is Win11-based) a map icon that can be clicked will display the map if it doesn’t automatically fill the lower pane of the display. Also if I download the mp4 file into my android phone using the RedTiger app from the playstore and then play it from the app’s “album,” route progress will be displayed on the map … so long as the phone is simultaneously connected to WiFi (others have noted disappointment — that I share — that connectivity via cell towers is not sufficient). I have not yet had the car in a position where I could simultaneously connect via WiFi to the dashcam and to my WiFi signal; I have a feeling that will not work, but that’s ok. Also, while I can turn on the dashcam’s WiFi via the settings of the camera, I cannot re-enter the settings function using the button to then turn WiFi off (instead, I turn WiFi off by turning the camera off using the top button the the camera’s left side) — that’s really odd. Unlike what some reviewers wrote, I found customer service to be responsive, relevant, and prompt.I am very pleased with this dashcam, and you will be too.

Everyone who drives a car should have this dash cam!
I recently purchased the RedTiger F7NP dash cam and I was very impressed by this camera. I am a former professional photographer, and the lens quality is truly top notch. The clarity of the videos and photos are excellent. Watch some of the YouTube videos about this dash cam and you’ll hear car professionals rave about this same device. I want to make a note here: I had my RedTiger dash cam professionally hardwired. The RedTiger customer service is just EXCELLENT. I sent some emails since I had some questions and within 24 hours, I always got a quick response. Always. Then when I was about to program my camera, again I had some questions and calling customer service was again, phenomenal. The customer service never rushed me off the phone and the agent was more than happy to answer and explain any questions I had. To anyone who is reading this review, this camera is worth every penny! I’m only allowed to give five stars here but RedTiger customer service deserves more, so I’ll give them ten. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Overall, good system
Overall, good system. The 4K front camera is excellent, the 1080 rear camera is good in bright daylight but not so good at night. And the electrostatic film causes car/street lights at night to fragment which causes too much glare for anything to be seen. I would recommend an optional 4K rear camera that can plug into all their systems, I would purchase one. Also, this system doesn’t come with a suction cup mount for the front or rear cameras for easy removal if you’re transferring systems between vehicles on a regular basis (it is an optional purchase for the front camera). The screen is too small for me to see any detail while driving. I tried using the phone app which gave a larger view but there were latency problems continuously even though the phone was 3′ from the wifi. And the recording length options are too restrictive. I’m sure there are reasons for only allowing 1/3/5 minute recording segments (like it’s easier to find something specific you’re looking for without having to go through an hour recording) but for me I would rather have one recording segment. It’s easy enough to slide the camera off the mount, plug it into a computer and fast forward to whatever incident you’re looking for. Other than that, I like everything about it including customer service, they receive 5 stars!

Good, not great. Some odd flaws and horrible window mount.
Purchased this based on all the reviews, and overall I am happy with the setup. BUT…. there are some oddities withe the camera setup.Out of the box I powered it up and connected the rear camera and tested the system before installing in to my Ram 1500.Rear camera wiring was more than long enough and luckily easy to hide. I used 1 of the 2 static window films to attach the camera to. The rear camera does have the ability to flip the image based on how you install it. That was handy. The image is so very small when viewed in the Picture In Picture. I used the wifi and mobile app to adjust the camera so I could see things better.Front camera mount was were I had the most issue. Location was tough as well… I needed up doing it on the driver side. Keep in mind the buttons are on the sides of the unit so you’ll have to make sure you can still get to to them. So back to the suction mount, it adjusts up and down but not left and right. Due to the curve of the windshield if you don’t place it in the center the camera will be slightly turned. There is NO adjustment for this.As others have noted the WIFI is an odd issue. I could be missing a step, but once you activate it, you cannot go back in to the settings until you turn it off. Which is odd since you can only turn it off by going in to the settings. I feel like I am missing something … but I didn’t see anything in the manual. When in use, the screen is display only, it is not touch. I wish it was. The rear camera is a picture in picture setup. That takes a bit to get used to, but I wish it wasn’t this type of setup. I wish I could see both images in full.I noticed the time is off by an hour, I changed it, and it went back to being an hr off. not a big deal I guess.I’ve installed the app on my iPhone, it seems to work well with the wifi. The wifi password is displayed on the camera screen and it was rather hard to read, but the password was 12345678. You can later change that via the phone app. The camera settings on the phone app are limited compared to the options on the camera itself.Power cord was just long enough to reach my center console. Since its USBC, you can use other options, just be sure to match the power requirements.Overall i feel as though its… “OKAY”. I am not “wowed” or “amazed”.**update**The power on/off sound is beyond annoying and very loud. I was able to turn that off, thankfully. After a couple weeks of use, its your basic 2 camera car system. As I said, there’s nothing 5 stars about it, its an average no name brand product. this is really a 2 1/2 star product.**update**Customer support provided some additional tips and was very responsive. Added 2 stars because of their attention to customer reviews and customer needs.

Excellent Dash Cam is Cheap Insurance
I received the RedTiger Dash Cam .and had it installed in about half an hour. Basic setup of the camera took less than 5 minutes, hiding the wires behind the trim took the most time. Tip: start hiding the wires from the camera, across the front window, and then tuck under the trim pieces as you go. I have a Hyundai Santa Fe and there was plenty of wire for my car. I did not do the hard wire install because parking sensor is not an issue for me. I placed the camera to the right of the rearview mirror so I do NOT see the screen while driving – this would be a distraction for me! DO use the little clear plastic squares – they help the suction cup stick properly and insure that you can remove the rear camera’s adhesive pad from a window easily if needed. If you have a SUV or hatchback, install the rear camera with the hatch OPEN – that way opening the rear hatch will not pull or damage your wires!Took this out for a test drive and then reviewed the video. The card shows files for F and R (front and rear facing cameras) I set up videos in 5 minute blocks, this makes it easier for me to find any specific portion I want – and if I need to send a video to police or insurance, the file size is reasonable. I tested the camera on 1080 resolution and color and clarity was great, even on a dark and rainy day. Video was very smooth, did not jump or jiggle at all. 5 minute files on 1080 resolution are about 1 Mb each – higher resolution means bigger file sizes, I’ll be trying higher resolution later to see if it is worthwhile.A dash camera like this makes for very cheap insurance! Records your GPS location, time, date, speed, etc. If you should need it for evidence, this could be very important for you and save you from an incorrect traffic ticket, prove you were not at fault, etc. Recording speed could be used against you I suppose, but you can turn this feature off if you want to. I’m a cautious & defensive driver, so I’m keeping it ON!Very pleased with this purchase – highly recommended.Camera

I am really impressed with this product and I bought it “like new”. I decided not to get to hard wire kit simply because I, personally, wasn’t worried about the parked feature. I just wanted to keep it simple and record other people while I was driving. The video and sound quality exceed my expectations. It’s small, sleek, and easy to install. The instructions were easy to follow and provided a QR code to video instruction as well. I was worried the cables wouldn’t reach the rear camera, based off another review, but it was actually to long! As depicted, the camera came with window protectors, (that I didn’t use) the crowbar to pry the plastic so I can hide the cables, and little hooks for the cables (that I also didn’t use) as well as the 32gb SD card. I purchased a larger size, also in the images. It was easy to remove, but it’s also in the instructions if need be. I was able to tuck everything into the roof or side panels of my car. The downside about my vehicle is the location of the cigarette lighter. Mine is in the center console instead of the front so I had to leave some cord exposed. But, it’s not very often I have any in my passenger seat so it works for me. The second issue with my vehicle is the windshield. I had to put the camera a little lower than I preferred because it wouldn’t stick to the texture. Overall it still work really well. Im not sure if all cameras have the same features, but I was really impressed by its ability to flip the camera image based on if the camera is mounted on the dash or windshield. My favorite is the screensaver. I can adjust how long before it goes dark, and still record. That way I’m not trying to look at it while driving. Everything looks great! I’m ready to test it out on my 9hr drive home for the holidays.

Very nice dash cam
Purchased the dash cam in May of 2023 but waited to write a review to see how we liked it. The cameras works better than expected, easy and simple setup. Their customer support has been very helpful when we’ve had questions or wanted to purchase additional items to go with the cameras.

I like it, good camera but could be better.
It’s a good camera, does what its suppose to do but kind of wish it would turn on and off with the car, noticed when I went to the gym one day after I put this in and it recorded the entire time I was in the gym and I’m only a little bit concerned about how hot this camera gets, I was in the gym for an hour and a half and even with it being cold outside the camera was hot as if it had been running in a car that was 100+ degrees. Hopefully this camera has a good life span because I’m not to sure with how hot it gets, I know it says it’s built to last a pretty high temp. but that can’t be good for it to be getting as hot as it does over time but we will find out.

works just fine and don’t need the apps to get video
One of the important things to me was not having to install another app on my phone to use this; I didn’t have to. I was able to pop the card out, put it in my computer and just read it directly. (Even a Linux computer. The video files were nicely standard.) The only thing I noticed is that the lower frame rate is perceivable. With the resolution and storage size, this is probably to be expected. It seem like the video is good enough for use as evidence, so it meets that requirement. With the two cameras, it passes thru the whole uSD card in about 2 days. (At least for my driving of about 40 miles/day, city.) Be sure to copy/backup or read up on the video lock feature if you have an incident.

This is the one you want
I’ve ordered and returned three other brands of dash cams. There is a reason this one is the It looks great, the perfect size, includes a memory card and GPS, as well as wifi and a rear view camera. I also love that the mount is via suction cup and not tape. The quality is 10 out of 10. Not only are the cameras super high resolution, but the viewing monitor is also high resolution. Super great night vision as well.If you’re on the fence – you will love this dash cam, especially if you’re particular about what you put in your vehicle. If you’re not picky, spend less on a cheaper model.

Perfect!
I drive 45 minutes to and from work via 3 expressways and I see some crazy things! We decided to buy these after watching some idiot driver videos on you-tube. I want to be able to prove what happened in case there’s an accident. So far it’s deterred one road rager that got half way out of his car to confront my husband (we honked at him after he passed us in a double yellow turn lane, cut us off and brake checked us), until he saw the dash-cam and got back in his car. I’ve caught some interesting animal encounters and several near misses. Super thankful for this system and it makes me feel good knowing it won’t be my word against theirs if something happens!

had problems at first
I had heard good reviews on this. I had read one review stating that it would not connect with S20 Ultra. I had the same problem after 40 minutes of trying I gave up and returned the camera without wating to hear back from tec support. the customer service reached out to me after this and they were great they sent out a new camera and the instructions they sent with it I was able to get the wifi and the app to work. if you have a problem with any camera you get give them a chance to make it right before returning it there customer support is second to none

Video quality isn’t good, but seller helped correct the issue
Update: Seller reached out to me and offered to upgraded the system to a newer version with better enhanced night vision to replace what i got. Seemed to be a lot better at night now since i got it and installed it. Just replaced cameras, was able to use existing wiring from other unit, took only a couple of minutes.Reviews looked good at first, bought and had for a few months, app is great. Almost had a rear end collision, no damage. But front or rear camera wasn’t good at night and couldn’t make out plate of vehicle. On either camera. disappointed. my job is considering getting some for fleet vehicles now. Won’t be using this. Only good for day time.

Very decent dash cam
For the price, you can’t beat it. The video quality of the front dash cam is excellent. Not so much for the rear. Rear camera quality is good during the day but very distorted and pixelated at night. Red tiger contacted me and have supposedly shipped me a new WDR rear camera Free of charge. We will see if I receive the new upgraded WDR rear camera. I will update my review.

It’s a great camera, great price, great customer service.
The camera is great, and it’s super easy to install. You can upgrade parts of the camera for your desired quality, which is an amazing feature. I had some questions about the camera since I was interested in higher quality resolution and their customer service was amazing and quick to reply. Aila has been an amazing help.

pretty awesome
I have not had to review the video from the card yet, but the quality from the screen during the day and night is considerably better than other dashcams I have purchased.

More than okay for the price
Installed in my 2023 Nissan FrontierPros:-Easy to install (didn’t need the manual or online help)-Great chord length to be able to hide behind panels/dash-SUPERIOR camera quality, I’m talking about this is better quality than my home security cameras that were $200 each-easy to use, can stream off of your phone while recording for an easy back up camera if needed-GPS and speedometer-I did not clean my windows before installing and the things are still holding up to this day!CONS-The last video of the drive prior to shutting your car off will not save if you do not end the recording before shutting off engine/battery (makes sense in the technology world)-default memory stick a bit too small in memory size (I feel as though this was provided as a courtesy, so I will not consider this in my rating of the product)Overall I give this product a 4.9/5

Excellent value, excellent service
First things first! I selected this camera and the hard wire kit for purchase (with many other choices available) for two reasons: (1) a very positive review I read regarding SERVICE and (2) PRICE. The service I received from a guy who calls himself FRANK was outstanding, particularly in this time when mediocre or non-existent service has become all too common. They provide only email service with a statement that they aim to reply to service inquiries within 10 hours. FRANK met that target with flying colors including some replies that were created at 10 PM (Dallas time). Maybe that was 9 AM wherever Frank is but nonetheless support was provided in a very timely manner. Accolades to both Frank and the company he works for as it relates to providing excellent service!I needed a longer cable for the Hardwire kit and the rear camera as well. Frank was able to provide both quickly. He sent an unsolicited email asking about my install progress. Like I said, excellent service! The small display will show you what the front camera sees. The upper left quadrant of the screen is overlaid with what the rear camera sees, but separate files for the front and rear cameras are being created. The quadrant of the front camera that is overlaid by the rear camera is preserved in the recorded file. The display itself is so small as to be unobtrusive on your windshield. It’s also so small as to be unusable (to my old eyes anyway) for anything more than confirming that a recording is being made. This is not a negative, just a statement of fact. I pull the Micro SD out to play on my PC using a 46” monitor. This is REAL 4k and the clarity is awesome! On such a large screen I was able to zoom in and read license plates that I was not expecting. The wide angle of both cameras gives excellent coverage of areas you might be happy to have in case of providing evidence of who did what to whom. The camera comes with a 32GB micro SD card. You might want to get a 256GB micro SD card. This media will hold 2,000 one minute files, 1,000 each for the two cameras. That number of files, at 4K and 1024×768 (F/R) resolution will hold about 17 hours of video. So far I’ve decided to let the cameras record all the time, even when parked overnight. I was concerned about running the car battery down, and I wanted to see if the camera will actually shut down when it detects that the car battery voltage has dropped to 11.8 volts as claimed. I was surprised to learn that even after 36 hours of continuous recording with the engine off the car started right up without any hint of a low battery. I also learned that with continuous recording the camera and the SD card get very hot. This is during a time frame when temps here in Dallas have exceeded 100 degrees every day so I guess everything deserves to run hot. No failures of any kind occurred. On balance I can say that I’m very pleased with this purchase, the camera and service earned a big thumbs up and 5-stars.UPDATE 15 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE:I’ve had several problems with the extended length cable that runs from the windshield mounted display at the top of the windshield to the fuse panel in the trunk of my Corvette where the battery is. I’m writing this update not to complain about the product but to provide ACCOLADES to the way the help desk has responded to my service needs.I’ve had numerous interactions with several people who man the help desk. While the product has been less than 100% reliable the service has been so great that I stand by my initial 5-star rating. ANY product can have an issue. BUT many companies these days provide such poor service (or no service) that they ADD to the users problems rather than solving whatever problem exists.BUY THIS PRODUCT with the assurance that help will be there when you need it.

Great Camera but minus one for lack of hardwire kit
I liked the Camera overall, I wish the hardwire kit came with the bundle as opposed to purchasing it seperately but I understand its a business. There’s a lot of knockoffs out there that are incompatible with this camera. Which made me return the “fake” one and buy the seperate hardwire kit seperately. However, I’m not electronically or mechanically inclined and was able to route the rear camera seamlessly to the front module in less than 90 minutes. Peace of mind is worth it, especially driving in a big city in TX.

Great Product
Was able to install the camara without any issues. The vendor support was really nice they sent me two wiring set ups for free. I haven’t gotten around to installing the hard wire set up yet because I’m really busy but will get to it eventually. The camara seems to be really good quality. I had trouble getting the suction cup front camara on the window at first but realized I had to place somewhere where the window didn’t have any kind of black etching. It works better with clean smooth window surface. The reason I gave the product 4 stars over 5 is because the App is really not well developed. It simply lets you retrieve videos if you connect to the dash cam directly using its internal Wi-Fi. I couldn’t find any other useful function beyond that. I got two of these dash cams and am satisfied with the purchase. I recommend it if you’re looking for some decent dash cams to get these crazy drivers on camara and keep them honest. I already got some crazy footage of them. Drive safe folks.

Worth every cent
This dash cam is awesome. The quality is so great for the price. Not 4k but still exceptional. I was going through a nasty storm one time and the camera actually saw the road better than my own eyes did. I wanted this camera because I drive a lot of miles and live in a shady area. I definitely recommend upgrading the SD card if you drive for long periods and/or want to have parking mode on. This way your camera won’t fill up quick. My 256gb can hold like 20 hours of footage from front and rear cams. I have mine hardwared for parking mode. The one complaint is (idk if this is a problem with EVERYONE) but when I have the cables in my fuse box the right way, and go to turn on parking mode, it won’t let me. You have to switch the cables to mess with the parking mode settings, then put them back to get parking mode to work. Which is a little pain in the butt at first but I’ve got it set up where I like it now and don’t have to change anything. The camera also has a thing so that it WONT DRAIN YOUR BATTERY. After it goes under a certain voltage, it will auto shut off (with hardware kit at least). I live where it gets cold so this is a very nice feature as my battery can’t dip below a certain voltage in winters. The other thing about this camera and the cold weather is it can withstand super high and low Temps. A lot of other cameras I was looking into couldn’t.Overall: great camera quality, great options to customize hoe you need it, and all for a decent price.

Pretty good Product, GREAT Customer Service!!
I purchased 2 of these dashcams, one for myself and one for the wife. The wife’s has been working great without any issues. Mine worked great for a little over a year, then started acting weird by going into a reboot cycle that would stop unless I unplugged the rear camera. I contacted customer service, and they’ve had great communication and have been very accommodating to find and eventually resolving the issue, thank you for honoring your warranty extension for this product!

Superior Customer Service
I just recently installed the camera so I can’t give a true opinion of how it will perform long term. When installing the camera, the only issue I had was with the suction cup windshield mount. No matter what I tried, it would not stay attached to the windshield. I contacted Red Tiger Support via email and received an almost immediate reply. They apologized for the issue and offered to send a replacement part. Not only did I promptly receive the part but they followed up a few days later to make sure everything worked out. This was by far the best customer service I have ever received from a company.

Amazing customer service
I am giving this product a 5 star rating due to their excellent customer service. They are very responsive and will provide you with everything you need to make things work (including sending you a hard wire kit, outside rear mount). They don’t go in circles and get straight to the point. The quality of the front camera is pretty decent, the rear is okay. Technology is always improving so i don’t doubt that redtiger will also deliver. Bought 3 of this dashcam for my other family members and would also recommend this to others.

Amazing but even better customer service
I hardly write reviews , but I want to say the customer service for this company is the best I’ve ever experienced with any company. The camera is great, I did have an issue with it beeping saying insert sim when there was already a sim , but it seems to be working fine again…. The customer service kept in contact with me and followed up , with fast responses . Amazing team , the best customer service

Very satisfied with this RedTiger dash cam.
I recently purchased this dash cam for my GLE 350.The installation was very easy. The video quality from the front camera is great. Day and nighttime video are very clear. The rear camera is fine during daytime. At night, the image quality is grainy, but that might be partially due to my tinted rear window.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this dash cam. In the near future, I plan on purchasing a few more of this exact model for the rest of my family’s fleet of vehicles.

Great Customer Service!
Camera works great. Was easy to install. My suction cup for the window mount did not suction. I emailed RedTiger and they sent me an adhesive window mount in the mail right away. Adriano promised it on the 31st and I received it on the day it was promised. It works like it should. Gold stars for everyone! Especially Adriano! They get 10 gold stars!!Thanks for making a good product with excellent service to back it up!

Not A Bad Cam!
Been using it in my car for almost two months now, and it works great. I hope I never have to use it to cover my butt, but it is a peace of mind thing to have. It was a bit of a challenge to run/hide the wires to the 12V port and the rear camera, but if I can do it with my skillset, anyone can, just have some patience. Also it’s a lot smaller than it seems, but that’s a good thing, doesn’t take up much space on the windshield. If you’re in the market for one, give this one a try.

Does the job to record video while driving
I purchased for my car to record video while driving. I mainly focused on value and simplicity with this purchase. That is, I didn’t try to find the “best” camera available, but just a reliable, good quality video image, with minimal cost.I purchased a larger memory card from Amazon, this one: SAMSUNG EVO Select Micro SD-Memory-Card + Adapter, 256GB microSDXC 130MB/s Full HD & 4K. It works well overall.Pros:The video is 4k, high quality. The photo is example video from my camera. It comes with both front and rear cameras. However, the rear one requires a cord from the front camera to the rear, which is why I didn’t install it (didn’t want to take down the headliner to run it). The camera has been very reliable except for the memory hiccups mentioned in the cons.It can be connected in a “sentry mode” where it records if your vehicle is bumped while parked somewhere. I didn’t use that mode however, because it requires a constant power connection, mostly due to lack of interest in the cabling required, not a concern over the vehicle battery drain. The video “wraps” the memory card, so it doesn’t just stop when full. The larger memory card purchased (below) allows for about a month of history to be kept through normal driving of ~1hr per day. The card that came with the camera would have only allowed perhaps 3-5 days of history.Cons:For sure the cord hanging is a bit of an annoyance. The other main drawback … the camera starts to beep if the memory card has a hiccup. This requires you to go through the menus and clear/reinitialize the video memory card, a process which disables the bad block of memory. Normally, a well-designed program auto disables bad memory, this camera doesn’t. This happened perhaps 3-4 times in the past 2 years since purchase.

High quality dashcam with some minor flaws
Pros:• The dashcam itself feels high quality and well-built. It looks sleek and stylish.• The menu is responsive and the settings are easy to navigate.• Good video quality.• The app is easy to use.Cons:• The mount cannot be angled/rotated, except up and down (skyward/groundward).• The optional hardwire kit that Redtiger offers uses Mini fuses. If your vehicle, like mine, uses Low-Profile Mini fuses, it will technically fit, but they will stick way up and you can’t put the fusebox cover back on.Advice:• Always tuck cable starting at the device and working back towards the power source.• Before securing any cable, do a practice run and figure out where the hardwire kit power brick ends up. I found it easiest to store the excess cable and power brick at the base of the front pillars (you’ll have to remove the pillar covers).• If hardwiring, a multimeter is a must. Find 2 fuses that aren’t important to vehicle operation (ie don’t use ABS or computer), one which is powered when the vehicle is off, and one which is powered when the key is turned to ACC. For example, I used a power outlet fuse as my accessory power and my hazard lights fuse as the constant power.• If you have a pre-collision detection system with a sensor on the windshield (like the Toyota TSS), you won’t be able to place the camera immediately to the right or left of the sensor, as the TSS housing will obscure the picture if placed on the right, and the rear-view mirror will block the ability to interact with the camera if placed on the left.UPDATE: I reached out to their support about the harness size and they sent me a their “quad harness” which has 2 of each fuse size, at no charge. So even though the original rating was for 4 stars, I’m bumping up to 5 stars for having great support, which is not very common and is very important to me.

Great Dash cam for the price!
Just installed this in my 2019 Tacoma. Install was easy and took about 1 hour total. Dash cam seems to be very high quality and the settings/navigation and the app are all simple to setup. Front and back camera. I did also order the Hardwire kit for another $24 and it’s totally worth it as you get parking mode, if you’re comfortable with this type of install. Ran it into the recommended fuses ACC (Cruise control) and B+ so it stays on. Instructions for the install were clear and easy to read. Quick start guide was also easy and accurate. It did come with quite a bit of cable for the rear cam, I stuffed a couple feet down into each A and B pillar in my passenger side. The extra front cable and little power brick easily stowed in the driver side kick panel next to my fuse box.

It’s OK for a relatively inexpensive dashcam
The RedTiger F7N+ dashcam is OK at a ~$125 (sale) pricepoint, if you don’t need actual 4K resolution nor functional parking mode surveillance capability. It is simple to use right out of the box for evaluation without rear cam and hardwiring installation. It will produce readable license plate images in daylight when vehicles are within 20 degrees of camera aim at distances less then 3 car lengths. Like most dashcams, it will not duplicate this performance at night. At night F7N+ failed to produce any image whatsoever of license plates of cars five feet directly in front at stop light, as headlight glare on leading vehicle seems to overload the F7N+.The wifi is slow for downloading image files to a phone or laptop – one hour of driving videos takes more than 10 minutes to download. Downloading requires one to first download and install RedTiger app and connect to camera wifi in the usual fashion. Removing the camera from windshield is not difficult, but later remounting with camera level and pointing directly forward is nearly impossible as camera mount lacks a fine adjustment capability. Removal also subjects camera and gps mount to significant bending force which will may eventually result in a broken camera. The best solution is to pop out sdram and use a memory card reader in your laptop/pc to review images. I use VLC to review video, pause, then snapshot license plates to a jpg file so that I can enlarge image in browser. The downside to removing the memory card is you will eventually drop and lose this small object before you even leave the vehicle.RedTiger claims this is a 4K camera, but it is not. It’s native resolution is interpolated up to a 4K resolution. This is partly why F7N+ costs $150 while other true 4K dashcams cost $300. F7N+ does not produce quite the same image quality as better 4K dashcams, which often include faster wifi and a real parking mode as part of the higher cost.F7N+ has poor collision detection and response in parking mode. It takes more than 10 seconds to activate video recording once collision is sensed, so the offending vehicle/operator will likely be gone with no record of event. The F7N+ hardwire assembly does not offer user the option to set camera shut-off voltage to protect vehicle battery. F7N+ is preset to automatically shut off from parking mode only when vehicle battery voltage falls below 12vdc, at approximately 11.7vdc. Some vehicles will not start at this reduced battery voltage (especially in cold weather), so there’s a real chance that a hardwired F7N+ will leave you stranded seeking a battery jump. The RedTiger app is not particularly useful if you have a card reader, computer and larger screen (TV). License plates can usually only be read as described above (VLC, snapshot, browser image pan and enlargement). App does permit download of image files from camera’s memory card to phone, but it takes longer than most folks have the time and patience for, and you can not really see anything on a phone video, as it’s simply way too small / low resolution. Good luck trying to produce a usable license plate image on a phone!

Customer Service
Customer Service: Emmy was professional, helpful, pleasant, and walked me through the set up of the dashcam; was patient – making setting up the dashcam a breeze to install with his easy tutorials. Had to call back the next day to ask a question and had the pleasure of talking with Emmy again. He remembered me, and was like talking with an old friend. Definitely an asset to the company! Will wait to review dashcam after it’s been in use for a while; but so far, I like it. Replaces another brand that was about 7 years old and stated having problems.

Great camera, easy install, but…
There are only a few minor issues here. First up, if they just made the rear cam cable 3 ft longer it would accommodate almost any vehicle. Instead you have to buy that part separately. In a car the included cable is fine, but even in my small SUV it was 1-2 ft too short.Second, the hard wire kit should be part of this. Having to buy that separately just makes no sense, except to get most buyers to purchase yet another item.Third, the hard wire kit allows you to timelapse record while your vehicle is parked. I have a new car and when I used that featured (which worked fine, super easy to install IF you follow their simple directions) the car would tell me “Hey, something is draining your battery” so I don’t trust it. It probably uses to little power it’s not a huge deal but I still don’t trust it and don’t use that feature, not worth coming back to a dead battery.Other than those little issues I can say that the value is there, the quality is there, and like any other cheapy dash cam you can buy it will last a few years and that’s about it. But, at least it uses USB C connections so you likely won’t have to re-wire everything when you get the next cam. In theory at least.Very pleased with it, been running it for months without issue.

Excellent Customer Service
My husband loves the Dash Cam. When I contacted the company with questions, I received an immediate response. They were very helpful and even offered to assist if I needed additional help. They are the best and the Dash Camera is a “Must Have” in today’s world of young, inexperienced drivers and those who are just taking over the roadway.
