It works, all in one.
Everything came out together. Would suggest buying seal creator to put on a thin layer so the gasket stays in the cover because putting the cover back on in this car is difficult to begin with. The decorative cover for the engine fits differently now and isn’t as exact as before, but we got it on without altering anything. So far so good. Will update if anything goes poorly.

Needs modifications to fit big headaches
The front top bolt hole had to have the sleeve taken out and had to add washers because it won’t line up center to the hole. Also the eccentric shaft gasket hole is off about 1 ito 2 millimeters too large not creating a seal causing a vacuum leak that’s very hard to find causing the check engine light to come on and throwing a mass air flow sensor code and on acceleration causing massive amounts of oil being sucked into the system and blows freight train amounts of smoke from the tailpipe making you think the heads blown or valve guide sleeves are bad. The price is great but the headaches it’s caused is not worth it.

Worked Great
I have a 2010 BMW 328i. It had a bad oil leak from the valve cover. To be honest I didn’t think this was going to work bc of how cheap it was. I even snapped a bolt off for the coil ground wire. When take the old one our. Long story short, take ur time and you’ll be fine.

Stopped the leak!
I was a little nervous even trying this due to the low price and how difficult it is to swap these out, but it sealed up perfectly. No more oil leak, finally! It was missing two screws and the old ones are a pain to remove but I made it work. Take your time, do not over tighten the bolts, I used 1/4 in drive socket. Start from the middle and work your way out. You will be glad you didn’t drop $600 on the same thing.

Works with N51 SULEV engine
My son’s 2010 BMW 328i xDrive has the SULEV N51 motor…. The valve covers are crap and it was cracked. This part was a perfect fitment, and was able to replace ours for 1/4 of the price BMW wanted. I also managed to return the valve cover gaskets i had, since this came with it.Install was a PITA, but thats not the fault of the part, but the car. There is almost no space to get it in, and was a fight to get it to go in.

My PVC was broken and causing large amounts of blue smoke from exaust. I replaced the entire valve cover which had the PVC attached. It stopped the blue smoke and the car is running great. The quality of this cover looks good. I would buy it again.

Perfect fit. 08 328i n52
Perfect fit easy instalation . Everyone says it’s “missing bolts” but the 3 they refer to are not part of valve cover and come right off your old one easily . Bolts all torqued properly none snapped. Overall very happy great price fixed my issue.

Best feature is that gaskets are pre-bonded in position for immeidate assembly.
I fully expected to have to bond the rubber gaskets to the plastic valve cover to keep them in place during the very difficult assembly process. I was delighted to find that the rubber gaskets were already bonded to the plastic valve cover so I could install it immediately. All holes lined up perfectly even the tight tolerence ones for the cam actuator and cam sensor. I did remove the pre-installed cam sensor seal as it is much easier to install it once the valve cover assembly is in position. This was easily done. Very happy with this purchase.

Looks good and fit right, but didnt come with all the bolts.
The cover is obviously a replacement part. It looks good and seems to have fit good, but mine came missing 3 bolts, which is funny because it was wrapped tightly in a bag inside the heavy cardboard box. I guess someone forgot them. It was a real pain in the butt trying reuse the old covers bolts. People who have done it know why.

Missing bolts and nuts
The valve cover arrived and installed as expected. However it was missing 3 valve cover bolts and 2 ground nuts. The missing nuts for the ground wires (from ignition coil wire harness) are M5-.8mm for my 2007 bmw 328. The valve cover bolts cannot be purchased locally. It still leaks with missing bolts. I want my missing bolts. This does include the eccentric shaft sensor gasket which is not listed.

Perfect fit for my 2007 BMW Z4– Saved $2100
UPDATE: 3-months later it is still working perfectly.I enjoy the satisfaction of DIY projects…especially for my car. This was a bigger job than I expected… but went great and the product was perfect for my 2007 BMW Z4.The BMW dealer wanted $2250 to do the repair. Thie was less than $100 on Amazon for $100 and had a 4.7 star review by 875 people. I figured I’d throw the dice on that.Took a few hours and a YouTube Video… No error codes, no oil leaks and runs smooth. Several hundred miles later, still working perfect. I am doing a Happy Dance today.

Missing one CRUCIAL bolt
Every thing seemed fine until I noticed the rear corner bolt (hardest one to get to) that isn’t replaceable because it’s in a bracket, is missing. Possibly ruined the whole job and timing of getting it done. I don’t know how it’s missing because you can remove bolt because of the teeth don’t just have been missed during the install/creation of valve cover… not sure if I can even get the old one off the old valve cover in. Might have to order a replacement cover or refund. Incredibly disappointing because of all the good reviews & I had just got he old cover off and then noticed I can finish this job now

For the money hands down the BEST kit you can buy!
Kit came complete and the gaskets were great. For my liking i added silicon to the inside edges where the gasket sits to ensure that when i flip the cover over while install the gasket does not pop out. Other then that it worked great and sealed properly. day 2 and running it hard and the leaks are gone!

Worth it!
I bought this for my 09 328i xdrive and it fit perfectly no problems, but it didn’t have all the bolts so I used some from the old one, other than that it’s done it’s job correctly, and obviously I suggest taking it easy after installing to give the seal time to break in, to prevent any leaks.

Some what surprised so far.
Everything is in tact and I’m impressed by the quality a bit. Typically alot of parts I get from China turn out to be crap. It has every bit of detail so far I see down to the warning sticker which is in multiple languages just like my original. Haven’t installed it yet but all the speed clips are firm. Bolt locked in and of the same grade like they should be.. I do wish it came with oil cap attached but overall its a great buy.

White smoke out of exhaust
Just installed and it’s blowing so much smoke out of the exhaust. The install of the product went good and I have no check engine lights or performance issues. However after looking into it looks like the crankcase vent valve is bad on the valve cover. Going to try and replace that without taking the cover back off and update if it fixes it.Update:Wasn’t the pcv valve but must’ve been something that got into the cylinders and worked its way out. Car doesn’t have any smoke anymore and no leaks. Cover fitment was great although I do regret not spending a bit extra for the aluminum because trying to work the cover back in place without breaking any plastic was awful. Updating to 4 stars though just because the oil cap does leak right away. Don’t even bother using it you’ll hear air hissing through it as soon as you turn the car on use your old one

Best bargain for your money!
The media could not be loaded.
After doing research this is by far the best Valve Cover replacement option for a N52 engine. So many people say to just replace the gasket but with a valve cover over 10 plus years old the plastic is just too brittle togo that route. You are way better off doing this whole valve cover kit along with new spark plugs and ignition coils since you have to access them during the job anyways. Now two bolts around the valve cover need to be reused. I preferred not to use those old bolts due to age so do yourself a huge favor and buy two of these special bolts part number 11127558454 a week before the job. Also for the valvetronic motor you will need a 1/4 E8 torx socket. You will also need a 10mm deep socket and a deep E10 socket with a swivel attachment for the outside valve cover bolts. Last but not least use a16mm magnetic deep spark plug socket for the spark plugs if you choose to replace them!

Would buy again.
I reluctantly purchased this cover for an X3. It seems well made and is packaged well. I usually buy the more expensive ones but wanted to try this one out. I waited over 3 months and 6K miles to leave a review. So far it has held up well and I have no complaints. The cover looks and feels exactly like the original ones except that it is a tad shinier. I read that people reported bolts missing, that is not the case. The three bolts needed are not included because you need to use the old ones from your cover. Use care when placing on the engine because the gasket may fall out of it’s seating. Fits as well as the OEM covers. I have replaced over a 2 dozen of these covers and will use this one again.
