Restored dead car battery
I do a limited amount of driving with a limited amount of range per drive. This causes my car’s battery to struggle when it get’s cold. This winter, I had gone 2 weeks without driving and couldn’t get the engine to hardly make a sound with a portable jumper helping. I charged the battery with the Genius1 for a few days, and now the car starts right up.I don’t have a garage, so the battery needed to be uninstalled to be charged externally of the car. I used instructions that I found online, since the included instructions use small print. The charging status LED is somewhat confusing. Pulsing Green is supposed to start at 75%, and Solid Green is supposed to start at 100%. When doing maintenance at 100%, the ‘100% Charge LED will pulse “on” and “off”’. Due to this, I’m not sure if the battery actually reached 100% or not.

Small but mighty!
Have two of the Noco Genius1’s and one Genius5 and absolutely love them! The 1’s are hooked up to a BMW battery and the other is on a lawnmower battery and both have charged and maintained the batteries well! While I know the Genius1 is only rated for up to a 30Ah battery, it still gets the job done! The battery in the BMW was roughly 50% when I first hooked it up and within 2 days it was green. The lawnmower only took about 4-6 hours before it showed green as well. Both the car and the mower sit through the winter months and these little chargers have proven themselves worthy! $60 invested will hopefully save hundreds in batteries each spring!I also want to give a shout out to the Genius5 as well…had a brand new deep cycle battery installed in a boat in June of 2022, the boat was used in July and then never again afterward. Discovered a few weeks ago the battery was completely dead, so I picked up the Genius5 in hopes of reviving it. Used force mode first because it didn’t detect the 1-volt or greater initially. After it’s cycle it went into the normal 12v charging mode. A day and a half or so later, flashing green like the battery was fully charged. Ran the repair mode for 4 hours once and returned it to the standard charge/maintain mode and now the battery voltage reads where it should be. Don’t have a load tester, but regardless, it revived a battery I thought was going to be swapped out! Will find out in the spring how well it did.Overall build quality seems great! From the clamps, to the connections, I am more than pleased! Like stated in some other reviews, if you were to drop them from a decent height the housing may crack, but that’s expected from a lightweight package. Don’t drop them!

Little Miracle
Okay, I did NOT expect this little thing to work, but it did and might for you IF you have patience. My Grandfather who was MoAT (Mechanic of All Things) owned back in the day what I thought were REAL chargers, they were so big and heavy they had to be put on wheels and rolled around, they had giant switches that’d illuminate and while I’m probably purely imagining this they were plugged into 220-volt outlets. This thing fits in the palm of my hand, just as pictured, smaller than most mobile phones. “Huh,” I said, “this should be comical.”I hooked it up and, as others have said, figuring this thing out is NOT straight forward, the instruction manual is weak to say the least, the good news is, as I found, there are many intrepid experimenters who, like me, bought it on a whim and did some trial and error which it’d seem 99% of them got the thing to work to their needs, just like me hence, I’m taking the time to write this review. What this lacks in coherent features or instructions it makes up for it in the end by eventually (boy I mean eventually) getting the job done, for that honestly I’m giving it a generous five stars, because it did what I wanted it do against all odds, just like the Phil Collins song. (“Just take a look at my car now, ’cause it’s finally starting here.”)To get the to point, this took TWO WEEKS to charge a completely dead battery in a completely dead system. If it’ll help anyone I own a 2000 Lexus RX300 that is, in fact, drinking age, if I could find a small ute-friendly bar to have a couple with me of which, in terms of trusty old friends, this boring beige over beige has been one of my best now with over 270,000 miles with no reason, per the Lexus dealer, to give up the ghost before 300,000. Toyota quality and then some with only wearables and maintenance needed BTW, the car has only had one issue, eating car batteries every four or so years. Being a cheap bastard and Lexus parts are pricy I’ve chosen battery over a slightly-off generator which brings us to the recent hullabaloo and the need to be the Noco Genius, though it’d prove not straightforward as I hoped.Hooking up the Noco Genius you get a slowly blinking light, like a heartbeat, that will tell you nothing really. Also there’s a force-charge setting where you hold the button (there’s only one button on the whole thing, this thing is basic) it supposedly will force a charge into a battery… this doesn’t work, at all. After some digging it supposedly only does this if a battery is below some arbitrary limit which, my battery was completely dead, kaput, nada, force charge only made the 6V light go on which, apparently, is what others experienced. Point being, don’t hold you breathe.I kept trying to charge the battery but it didn’t budge, didn’t budge, didn’t budge, then I had a thought and said to myself “self, what if I unhook the battery, THEN charge it?” As in, is it because it’s also hooked to my car hence current is going other places? Mind you, this thing is only one (1) amp, that’s very little, if you’re looking for a quick charger or something to charge and jump your car, this ain’t it, have you seen the size of this thing? Ha no, no, but it will trickle, very slowly, a charge into your battery… if it’s not hooked to the car.Listen, some people this may work when the battery is not hooked up and, in fact, I hooked my battery back up AFTER this thing actually worked and then hooked up the Noco to it and it did, in fact, go from red blinking to green, sooo, yeah, that happened. But I’m burying the lede here:The Noco charger worked for me but ONLY after it was hooked to the battery without being connected to the car. Total time to charge the battery not hooked to the car? About 36 hours. Great? Eh, there’s a pandemic, I’m not really going out much so had time on my hands, not to mention my wife’s car.In summation, IF you have even a completely dead battery or run down battery and IF you don’t have to go anywhere in the next two days and IF you’re comfortable unhooking the leads from your car to your battery so that it’ll only be charging the battery itself this Noco Genius is, er, uh, genius! It really works! It works and for the cheap cheap cheap money its worth every penny. If this thing cost even 50% more I’d be taking down stars but this thing cost less than a steak dinner (back when I ate steak) so suffice to say it got my battery charged all the way up, hooked up to my car and after the computer was all “what the… ??? Was I in a coma” my car fired right up and ran, I even drove it around a bit. This would be a good thing to own for just-in-case as its just in case money. If you have any situation close to mine, get this trickle charger, if you need the big guns, well, open up your wallet and say ah. Luckily most of us, probably 99% of us, if your battery is run down, this will do the trick.Best of luck!

Keeps Lawn Tractor battery topped off
I’ve used several of these Noco maintainers of various sizes with good results. Only one unit lost it’s weatherseal, water condensed inside, and killed the unit. The others have taken temperature, vibration and rainwater spray with no issues. This 1 amp device takes care of my John Deere X304 lawn and garden sized battery – tractor starts right up when I need it to, after sitting a month at a time through the fall/winter.It does take up all the space in my outside covered outlet, due to the electronics integrated with the plug. If you need the maintainer to take up just one of the two outlets, recommend getting the 2amp version, that has a regular cord coming from the electronics.

Great Product
My wife and have two vehicles. We drive one for a month and garage the other until the following month. We have found that the battery of the garaged vehicle may need a trickle charge/ maintenance charge applied because we’ve had to have the battery jumped after sitting a long time. This charger/ trickle charger is an excellent product- it keeps your vehicle battery fully charged. It is simple to hook up and has easy to follow instructions. I did a lot of research on charger products and I’m satisfied this is a top knotch product.

Big power in a little package!
I have a small convertible sports car that is not made anymore. The car is great and girls stay it’s sexy as hell! Living in the state of Minnesota I do not drive this car in the winter nor heavy rains. So I put the car away for several months in my garage. Covered up with a custom cover and only put storage insurance on it! The tires are on rubber pads as not to touch the cold concrete of the garage floor. This car is babied but so fun to drive with perfect tight steering and exceptional handling! So I needed a new battery tender for the winter months. I leave the batter in the car as its mid engine vehicle. My old tender just burnt out after 10 years of use. Only from Nov. throughout April! The tires are rated as high speed performance tires and are not good during colder months. So the little Noco Genius 1 is just the little power house I need to keep my engine tended throughout the winter months! Hook it up and walk away! No fussing around. When spring comes around my Spyder is all ready to come out of hibernation and ready for the road! Can’t beat this little battery tender. So easy to hook up and use! Norco Genius products are the best.

Very nice charger
I’ve had many of chargers in my day, for the two boats I’ve owned and other vehiclesI’m used to using a six amp charger or better. I killed my truck battery and put it on a 6 amp charger for 13 hrs and it still wouldn’t startSo I planned on buying another battery for the truck and then having this charger to make sure I maintain it cause I just don’t drive my truck that muchBut for kicks I put this charger on immediately and in 2 1/2 days it went to Green and the truck started right upWe will see how it works but so far I’m very impressed with this charger .I didn’t really expect it to charge up that fast since it’s only a one amp charger and one of the reviews said it took four days for his Corolla to get charged back up and that’s one of the reasons why I bought this battery chargerUpdate. My truck no longer needs a battery.

So simple to use, just get this one.
I have a Mercedes that is rarely driven so the battery is often drained when I do. No any more. Plug into the wall and connect to the battery and leave it! This keeps the batter peak at all times. It was also able to bring it from near dead to a good charge on the first run. The Quick release on the clips cable makes it even easier and safe to attach. If you need a car battery charger this one will totally do the job for a great price.

Awesome product but not enough amperage for my battery
in the past when I have purchased NOCO products such as the portable battery LiON “jump” starter.. I have been very satisfied. I have a diesel automobile and left this charger connected properly for over 24 hours.. it did not charge my battery enough to allow it to start. I borrowed my neighbors six amp battery charger and it worked like a dream after just two hours. perhaps the diesel car battery was just too much for it. I really like NOCO products in general, but I should’ve purchased the highest amperage battery trickle charger they made. I would like to be able to try their top end product sometime If I need one again.

New Tech
I didn’t know there was so many different types of batteries in vehicles these days. This trickle charger will obviously charge all of them. You have to set it up properly and then actually press the button to activate it. I made this mistake the first time. I use this thing on my car every year when I put the car away for the winter and it has saved my battery. My very expensive Jaguar battery.

Good to keep battery charged
Bought this one as had an earlier version which worked quite well. Needed a second one and this was my first choice. Easy to use and setup. Just connect it and it takes care of the rest. If you leave it connected it won’t over charge your battery. My low rating on weatherproofing is simply because its not designed to be used in the elements since its plugged into the wall or on an extension cord.

5th or 6th NoCo charger I’ve bought (none have failed)
Bought one a couple of years ago for a motorcycle and liked it so much I bought a 3-port one for use on my bench. Now I have 5 or 6 of these and literally use ’em for everything from tractors to airplanes. I have never had a malfunction, never had a failure and never had a battery damaged by one of these from overcharging (common with cheaper chargers). Unless something changes, this will be my go-to charger from here on. I also have two jump-start boxes and have been amazed how well they work on even large diesel engines.

revived my semi dead track car batt no problem
batt in my track car died without me realizing, in hindsight I really should have had it on a tender as it sits for weeks at a time and months over winter, went to crank it and nada, but had enough juice that it wasn’t completely dead, was on the tender for 2 days before the light turned green, fired right up after that. Hopefully extends batt life a little.

Easy Installation And Easy To Use
Just a quick review of the Noco Genius 1 charger / tender.I installed mine permanently on a 2022 Jeep Gladiator with two AGM batteries. Since AGM batteries seem to take a bit longer to charge, I wanted to make sure that on my short 10 mile round trips to town each day that the batteries would be kept at a fully charged state. This is more of a factor in cold weather as batteries take even longer to charge. If you have a newer Jeep product and have automatic stop start system you may want to think about getting a charger tender for your car.The install is very easy, I removed the alligator clamps using a 3mm allen headed screw and installed the cables on the main battery with the installed ring connectors. This charger has a nice quick connector about a foot from the ring connectors, so its very easy to remove when you are ready to drive.Once that was done I plugged it in and set the charger to the AGM setting. Since the Jeep had been setting for a few days it showed that it needed a small charge. This only took a few hours then it went into the standby mode. I like the fact that the charger remembers what type of battery that it was last charging when it was disconnected, no need to set it again unless you are charging a different type of battery.Time will tell if this charger will last but since I am in a enclosed shop it should never get wet.

Compact and great for winter storage
Device is small and economical. I have NOCO ports on summer cars already, so works well for me. If you have standard SAE ports like those which come on Harleys, you’ll need to change them or buy an overpriced adapter cable. This negates any savings on this unit. We’ll see how long this 1 amp unit lasts. My other early NOCO units are larger and have survived for many years. My 3 amp Harley branded Tenders usually only last 3-5 yrs.

Popular Device to Keep Battery Charged
This device was recommended by a number of people to keep a battery fully charged. I use it to keep a seldom-driven car prepared, especially during winter when temperatures drop and batteries are far less efficient. So far it seems to work. The car starts right up even after weeks in sub-freezing temperatures in a garage.

Good maintainer
I have used this and the Schumacher 1299. I like both of these. This cycles on and off so it won’t overcharge over winter storage. The read and green lights tell you when it is charging and when it is monitoring. I have also used cheaper Harbor Freight trickle chargers but they often put out over 14v. That may not be good for a battery over long periods.

Be mindful of which version of this you get. Make sure you get what you expect.
This unit works exactly as it should. However, be very aware of what you order as there are several models. This one has the slowest charging time. It took 4 full days to charge a discharged battery. There is nothing wrong with this as long as you are aware of that.Does an awesome job of keeping a battery that you don’t use regularly, fully charged

Maybe The Best Battery Maintainer
There are popular battery maintainers out there, but with a little research and comparison it’s easy to see this one is the best. Dormant batteries will suffer an early death and putting one of these on a battery that’s rarely used will extend its life and pay for the charger. And it will de-sulfate, which is removing a buildup on the battery’s plates which decrease its performance and life. That’s why you should buy this charger. Simple

Mostly Better than Battery Tender
It’s mostly better than the comparable price chargers in the market, but, it’s a disappointment that it has a priority connector on the plug instead of a universal DC connector, so for vehicles that already have the discount installed you can’t use it. (I modified mine to have the universal connector so I can use any charger on any vehicle though).

Works Great but Instructions are Horrid
So I have Drone Mobile installed in my Subaru Legacy. For those of you who don’t know, DroneMobile uses a constant cell connection which inevitable drains your car battery (common complaint for those who have DroneMobile). The prior year, I left my car in my garage while I was gone on vacation and the battery got down below 12.0 volts (11.8 is what I measured on my multimeter). I figured I better get something to charge it so I ordered this device. Also worked great as a trickle charger. You can leave it on indefinitely if you want. It worked like a charm, though there were some caveats that I’ll cover.1. Make sure you know which charger you got. I got the 1 amp. That’s going to take a while to charge a dead battery. If you’re thinking you need more, get something with a little bit more flow, e.g., the 2 amp will literally decrease total charging time in half.2. The connection to the battery is a pain. It should blink red after a few seconds. If it isn’t, there’s a chance that the connection isn’t solid where you connected it to the battery terminals. I would play with it for a little bit to see if you can get a better connection. I thought I had a solid connection the first time I did it and it was frustrating me that it wasn’t working. Take the time to readjust even if you don’t think you need to. If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to disconnect the battery so that you can get the clips solidly on the battery terminals.3. I recommend getting a digital multimeter. You can get some cheap ones that work just fine here on Amazon. Go to YouTube to learn how to get the reading. This will help you in determining how long it should take to charge your battery. So overall 5 stars, though I would say 4.5 is probably more appropriate, but I rounded up. 5 stars for ease of use, quality, and longevity. 1 star for instruction quality. Since you can figure it out from the reviews, I didn’t weigh the instruction quality as high as the other areas.

Great for MAINTAINING a car battery
The Genius1 is great. It has plenty of power for maintaining an already charged car battery. Easy to use and has separate settings for different battery types like AGM and Lithium (I ruined an AGM battery hooked to a Battery Tender Plus which is supposed to be for AGM batteries but has no dedicated AGM mode). The Genius1 will perform similar to the larger Genius2, Genius5 and Genius10 in maintenance mode since company literature indicates they all use a very low charge (less than 1 amp, I believe) during this process. For a car, there isn’t much point in getting the Genius2 since it doesn’t have enough power to fast charge a car battery either, and doesn’t have a dedicated repair mode. You need the Genuis5 or above for that.Where the Genius1 differs is when charging a drained battery. You can charge a drained car battery with the Genius1, but it will take a few days. I did it once and it took three days. If your intention is to charge dead car batteries, you are better off getting the Genius5 or Genius10. However, for just maintaining car batteries, I found the Genius1 to be perfect. For smaller batteries like lawnmowers and ATVs, the Genius1 is probably all you need to charge and maintain.

Excellent Battery Charger & Maintainer
I have a truck that mostly sits in the garage. Every time I need to back it out of the garage, the battery is dead.I know that just sitting isn’t good for batteries, not to mention this battery is several years old.Now keep in mind, this is a large amp battery for a SUV, which was so dead, a turn of the key and I didn’t even get lights on the dash. I stuck this little charger on it and it took a day and a half, but it charged completely. Ok, now I’m beginning to get a tad impressed.I have two of those old type chargers, you know the ones that after a while you can hear the acid boiling inside the battery, and the battery is getting really hot… you know the chargers that tell you not to leave it on your battery for any extended period of time as this might (will) damage the battery (possibly even start a fire). Well… no more.I’m a total convert now to using smart chargers, and this one seems especially good. I really hope I don’t find some little something that breaks 6 months from now, cause I really like this charger! It seems very well designed and made and most of all, it works great. The only negative I can find, it has a single button to select one of several charging modes, and LED’s to indicate which option you have chosen, and those LED’s are pretty much self explanatory, as well as an advanced mode where you have to push and hold the single button to enter advanced charging mode. For example, if your battery is so bad, the charger cannot detect there is even a battery hooked up, you can tell it to go ahead and start charging anyway which is a really nice feature. As another reviewer mentioned, when you need to use some of the more advanced functions, if you’ve lost the booklet, well… good luck. The multi-language booklet briefly explains all of the options, what the LED’s mean, and that’s pretty much it, verbose it isn’t..It comes in a really nice packaging, like you’re really getting something ( and you are), the unit itself seems well made and thought out, you would think a bit more of an effort would have been put into the manual. But, perhaps the product speaks for itself… and it does. And, after all most users will hook it up to their 12 volt car/boat/motorcyle battery, plug it in, select the regular 12v battery option, and that’s all most will ever need. Once the battery is charged completely, the charger senses that, and switches automatically to just maintaining the battery. If you loose power while charging (or maintaining), this charger just picks up right where it left off, so there is no worries about pushing buttons or selecting modes, it knows what you were doing before, and starts right back up with doing it again.Am I glad I got it: YesWould I buy it again: Yes.

Great Conditioner, Do Not Plan Using This to Charge Car Batteries Overnight
Bought this to use as a conditioner for the battery on a dune buggy in the winters. Works great.Docked a star from the rating because it does not charge dead batteries as quickly as purported in the product description. Still charges them but it takes at least 2 – 3 days to get a car battery to 75% charged.

It just works…
I try to not instantly review the products I purchase, as it’s usually a day after the warranty expires that when products have a tendency to fail…..That being said…Simple, easy to use, and it just works. Purchased this for my lawn mower battery. I appreciate the smaller size and to this day, still provides a charge to the battery.

Very flexible
I really like it has the option to take off the clamps and just use the screw mount. I just bought it to trickle charge my motorcycle battery during the winter storage months. It works great for that and I could easily put the clamps on and use as a regular charger. Good quality and value for the money.

The best Christmas gift from Ex..
The media could not be loaded.
My ex-wife bought this charger for Christmas present. My new girlfriend bought the AXTRA 3.6 amp charger for Christmas gift. Should I keep both chargers? Maybe I should use the AXTRA charger for weekend vehicle to trickle charge the battery during the week. The NOCO Genius 1 is a trickle charger putting out 13 volt at 1 amp current. It can fully charge 100ah battery in approximately 4 days. While most cars use a 12 volt AGM or lead acid battery, 6 volt are common in motorcycles. It is designed for indoor and outdoor use with weatherproof protection. The battery clamps can be removed the screws for integrated eyelet allow to easy attach to the battery and can even be plugged into the battery directly. It is compatible with all gasoline and diesel vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, UTV, ATV, boat and more. It’s a versatile and reliable charger for efficiently maintaining car battery in a year round.AXTRA battery charger is smart and fully automatic charger is designed to cater your needs easier and efficiently. Suitable for both 6 volt and 12 volt batteries. This charger is compatible with various vehicles like cars, trucks, boats and RV for 3.6 amp, and motorcycle, lawnmowers, tractor for 0.9 amp. It automatically detects the battery voltage and applies the appropriate charging mode guaranteeing a safe and fast charging process to keep the battery running.NOCO Genius 1 is very small, simple to use and energy efficient. It can use as a resultant or, trickle charger and battery maintainer for 6 volt and 12 volt batteries. This charger is mostly self explanatory especially for the most common tasks of charging and maintaining a standard AGM or lead acid battery. Whether used it at home or garage, you will need a charger to keep your battery charged for vacation or weekend vehicles.Comparison on the battery clamps, NOCO built quality seems better than AXTRA.Overall, I love both chargers. In my conclusion, I would definitely keep both chargers, one for my motorcycle and one for the weekend vehicle.

WOW, what a great product, restored my dead Corolla battery
This is a seriously wonderful produt. Smart, easy to use, it just worked. We stupidly didn’t drive our 2nd car for like 6 months since we both work at home, and subsequently found it dead. I foolishly tried to jump start it with my big 12V battery charger/pump combo, but that just caused the car to flash lights and oscillate back and forth, no starting. Well, I started using my brain and measured the battery voltage—less than 2V! Conventional internet “wisdom” (lol) said toss it and buy a new one. I decided to take a chance on this product first. I went with the cheapest 1A solution as I was willing to wait. And wait I did, it took 4 days to go from flashing red to flashing green, and on the 5th day it turned solid! The car then just started up and ran, has worked for several trips and still measures >12V after sitting a few days.I love this little gadget, it saved my battery, and I can use it to keep the battery topped off in storage in the future.

Slowly But Surely
I had left my car’s keyless ignition on the ACC setting for two days, running down the battery, requiring a jump start. Also, I have only been taking the car out for one short drive a week, with the car sitting in a cold garage otherwise. A few weeks later another jump start was needed.I used the NOCO Genius1 trickle charger for the first time and the main led light initially was solid red. After about a half hour, it switched to pulsing red as it began charging. About 27 hours later, the led was pulsing green, 3 pulses every 5 seconds. Two days later, the charger led was still pulsing green, but at a slower rate, about two pulses every 5 seconds. An hour later, it had slowed to one pulse every 5 seconds. I checked it five hours later and the light was solid green. To reach full charge, the charging and rebuild took a total of 77 hours, although more likely 72-75 hours. It appeared that when the green pulsing slowed to 1 pulse every 5 seconds, it was nearing completion. I unplugged and disconnected the charger and the car started as if it were brand new. My new voltmeter plugged in the cigarette lighter showed a running voltage of 14.5. Amazon’s reviews and answers to questions were helpful for understanding just how slow this 1 amp charger is, especially with a 62Ah battery not in the best of shape. The expression “a watched kettle never boils” really does apply to this trickle charger, but it gets the job done.

amazingly compact charger for a variety of batteries
This thing is so compact I can fit it in my battery housing with my smallish lipo battery I have on my harley. My battery had drained down to 0 and I couldn’t find my lithium battery charger so I thought I’d give this a try. Plugged it in and when I checked on it a couple days later, we were good to go. The small size is truly amazing. The cord on it could be longer but overall it’s a perfect compact unit. The one thing I don’t love about this charger is that the battery hookups (whether you clamp or screw them on) are on a cord with a proprietary plug not the standard one I’m used to seeing around. I happen to have a phone charger on my bike that is hooked up to my battery and can be unplugged for the standard cord if I need to plug in a different charger but I do wish they weren’t using their own system when there’s years of the old style plug already out there. If it weren’t for the connector plug I’d give this 5 stars.

Great shop tool
I have recovered several batteries with this charger. It conditions the battery as it charges. I mounted another model to my ATV to keep it charged.Well worth the price for the savings of buying another battery. Some of the lawn tractor batteries were 10 years old and I use the one everyday on my tractor.

It’s a trickle charger, remember that.
I have it hooked to my camper battery and it seems to be doing a great job maintaining it. The light is usually solid green on the charger but occasionally when I check it it is a pulsing green light which means it’s maintaining the battery and then next time I check it the light will be solid green again. NOCO makes great products. I own 3 of their jump starter battery packs and two other 2 amp maintainers.

Awesome Chargers
Great for maintaining batteries in the off-season. I have 3 hooked to jet skis and atv’s while in storage. Saves money with no need for new batteries as often.

Item is as described
So I originally bought this automotive charger to keep my Yamaha jet skis batteries charged. It was super easy to use and set up and the charger itself would let you know when your batteries were fully charged if they needed to be. Instruction quality was surprisingly better than what I thought and pretty easy to follow. Tech support was an opportunity for me to review and I declined only because I never needed to use them. Overall I was very satisfied with this. When additional thing I really like about this is it’s small so it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Works great
I used this to charge and maintain my trucks’ battery. I disconnected the battery from my truck and placed it in the garage. It took 55 hours to go from less than 75% to 100% charge and maintenance mode. I’m sure individual results will vary based on weather, humidity, etc. I am fully impressed. Great nifty little item at a budget friendly price!

Great product for cars and small trucks
Great product for cars and small trucks however if you have a full size truck (Diesel) then it works but just takes a little longer as most diesel trucks are 48V systems as main Battery and Auxiliary

NOCO Genius1 battery charger.
I am very pleased with my NOCO Genius1 battery charger. I had a car battery that was so dead that my regular battery charger wouldn’t charge it. But, when I connected my NOCO Genius1 to the battery it began charging the battery.Once the battery showed a charge, I was able to connect the battery to my regular battery charger to complete the charge.

This little guy is something else
One day I noticed I left my truck lights on so the battery got drained. I grabbed my jump starter and nothing. So I took the battery to O’Reilly’s for them to charge it and they said I needed a new one because there wasn’t holding charge. $200 for the new battery and I almost bought it but I decided to think about it. So I found this little guy online and let me tell you I was hella skeptical but for 30 bucks it was worth the shot. It did took like a day and a half but it completely fixed the battery!! This happened 2+ years ago and the battery still works perfectly!

not to bash the original battery tender brand but noco is really making the competition look bad. i now have multiple noco chargers and starters and all look and perform great.

VERY PLEASANTLY SUPRISED
A friend of ours brought this little fella over to change the battery up to crank the car. I thought ” What in the world, That thing is too little” it worked just fine. So I bought one myself, My husband rolled his eyes , he’d thought close to the same thing. He has one of the huge old school ones. I had to do a do a demonstration, He was shocked. Well worth the money and doesn’t take up a lot of space

Excellent product
Excellent product I purchased two one for each car which we keep in our garage in the winter time. I bought an extension for one of them. They have worked perfectly exactly as advertised, keeping our batteries topped off in the cold winter months in the northeast highly recommend.

Great to keep batteries at top charge
I got several of these to keep batteries on equipment and vehicles that may go a long time between uses from self discharging. Don’t count on them for charging anything but the very smallest batteries if they are down in charge by much. They will, however, keep a good battery at full charge and protect them from self discharge and parasite loads. At the price of new batteries anymore I look at it as insurance.

Great battery maintainer!
This is the fourth Noco Genius battery maintainer that I have bought, I keep one on all of the equipment and toys. I have been using these for years now because they work intelligently to maintain your batteries. I had a four wheeler that I had a Schumacher maintainer on and I would have to buy a new battery every year, but that stopped when I switched to the Noco Genius and now I am no longer buying batteries! In fact, I should really have the battery on my Harley checked because it is 9 years old! I make it a habit to always keep the maintainers plugged in because the Noco Genius does a great job of keeping your batteries healthy. This kit didn’t come with it, but I recommend getting an eyelet connector that stays permanently attached to the battery and makes it very easy to connect to.

NOCO Battery Charger.
The first time I used it I successfully charged a completely dead car battery. What I didn’t like was the lack of a good owner’s manual and the fact that it did not work as explained. I left the battery on the charger for over twenty four hours. The blinking red light never switched to green to indicate full charge. I tried it anyway and it started the car, which is all that matters.

SMALL BUT MIGHTY
When I received this, I immediately thought of returning it. It is very tiny, and fits in the palm of my hand. I have a car that has been disabled for over a year, and the battery has been dead for 13 months. I did not think this had any chance of recharging the battery, but I was so wrong. About 3 hours after hooking it up my car started coming back to life. After 4 hours my car started, headlights worked, etc. I kept it hooked up a few more hours just to make sure I got a full charge. Works excellent. Highly recommend.

Great little charger!
Let it sit overnight and your battery is full. Works great if you just need to top off power.I also tested an old AGM and it came back to life at 12.9v over 3 days. Get a big unit if you need to charge up quickly. Great product!

Works great for.
It works great and is super easy to use it. But not sure if working as it should now, use this for 2 weeks now at first it was fine like the red like that is pulsing as is changing so that’s good, and it turn green light pulsing after a day or so as indicated that is maintaining the battery so everything at this point it was going great like the way that it should work. But a day of 2 later after the green pulsing light turn to pulsing red as in change again which is fine but this time is already been 10+ days and is still in the same setting that is pulsing red light. So can I still leave it there 24/7 like it say it can or not a good idea anymore since is just changing for super long already.

10 stars!
I bought this for my kids classic cars. Was just expecting a good slow charger. Nope, this thing works just as good as a full sized craftsman charger we have and doesn’t take up space. It’s an amazing product. I’m going to buy more!! Dry happy with this thing!

Easy to use!!!
I’m very happy with this product. The booklet instructions were very helpful. This battery 1amp charger is ideal for charging my car battery. The cost was in my budget, however I think the 5amp charger might be better to cut down on the charging time.

Simple to use
The “pulsing glow” is hard to see unless you’re in the dark, and even then its tough. Smaller and simpler than past battery chargers I’ve had. Probably slow for those in a rush, took more than 12hrs (but less than 24hrs) to bring a dead car battery back to +75% charge. Wish the instructions would clearly state what order to hook it all up in, but perhaps the “brain” in the thing accounts for that. I did battery first, then plug in to outlet.
