well you should just go to your local installer if you have a newer car….
so heres the issue. yes this can be installed in almost all automatic cars but make sure you dont need something like the dball2 to bypass your immobilizer that you did not know you car had…….and that would not be an issue what so ever if the dam thing did not need programming. so now you ask yourself why do i down rate this product because of my mistake? and here’s why, if you call viper and tell them you bought their product on amazon everything help and all goes right out the window. they know this product will not be supported by the manufacture and they fail to advertise that. Also they fail to advertise that this may need more then just this to make the unit work. so at the end of the day because viper is terrible at helping the individual i have to down rate this a little because the seller know this will not be supported. im sure this will work fine for some one with lots of wiring skills (i do) and a older car with out an immobilizer (i dont) and now i have to have it installed any way haha. research is key here

Good alarm
Very good alarm system for the price highly recommend to get it professionally installed.Please keep in mind that some extra parts may be needed as it says on the box itself so installation price could change but it is worth it.

Works Great with Mazda Demo 2012
My car local Electrician did a great job install ViperRemote StartKill SwitchKeyless Entry (for Mazda Demo & Nissan an additional part is required for the alarm deactivation to also unlock the doors, but Mazda Demo 2012 original comes with keyless Entry so it not a big issue for me. It just requires pressing 2 buttons}

Range is TERRIBLE!!
This remote start is mediocre at best. It would get 5 stars, except the range is awful. If I’m in my livingroom it has 50/50 odds of working at best. My living room is about 75 feet from the truck through 2 walls. If I walk to the front door it works – amazing considering it then has line of sight from 50 feet away.If I’m in a parking lot it REFUSES to work if I don’t have line of sight with no cars in the way. Starting the truck from inside a movie (like my friend does EVERY TIME) – not happening. He has a bulldog he paid half as much for, and it works from 3x as far away. Thanks Directed Electronics. Put an antenna on your system.

Always good quality from DEI, works as advertised clear installation instructions. I added SmartStart to the system. Also got a bit writer to customize the alarm system.

Great alarm. Full featured
Love this full featured alarm. My local shop was going to install a bare bones unit for $200. I shopped around and found this which is superior. The shop only charges $100 to install so I get a super alarm for the same price as the bootleg bare bones I was about to have installed.

Work on my 07 hummer h3
Took it to a professional installer.. it work great but had to spend extra $220 for installation,overdrive module, and relays. After all that remote starter work great no issues so far,but if I do run into problems I’ll change my review.

Great alarm
I have had this alarm for about two months. It performs beautifully. I am confident in knowing the two way remote will signal me to an intrusion. And the range on this alarm is seriously about a mile. It comes with two remotes. One remote is two way and the other is not. It has a flashing light to warn intruders away. I really like this alarm.
